Needs better management
We were spending the night in the hotel. We arrived and used valet parking as we do with most casinos we stay in. The valet gave us our ticket....asked if we were staying at the hotel. We told him we were. No offer of taking the luggage to the room, but that was not a big deal to us. We had small luggage. Grabbed our suitcase and went inside to look around in confusion about where the check in desk was. Asked the security guy that lets you in the casino....and he replied that we needed to go back outside and walk over to the next building. Why the heck didn't the valet mention that?! Got to our room....and it was nice. It was however a handicap room...but that was not a big deal to us either. The front desk seem to go on a bit about our having a King Suite. It was like most rooms we stay in at other Hamptons. Went down to play a bit and eat. No luck winning....but expect that. The machines seemed to pay out even less than other casinos we've been to. But we're not big time spenders....so we lost our allowance pretty quickly and just went ahead and went to the room at an early hour hoping to watch something on TV....maybe rent a movie. No such luck. Nothing but basic cable channels. Need water. No courtesy water provided. No vending machines anywhere but first floor. They did have a few bottle of water left thank heavens! Wanted a sweet midnight snack. Was a choice between 2 candy bars in their sweet shop. REALLY! Go to WalMart for supplies!
