Very nice hotel.

Posted 25-Apr-2017
Pros: Cleanliness, convenience, comfort
Cons: Explanation about parking
Location: Small shopping area that stayed open in the evening, dining within walking distance.
The room was huge, very clean and comfortable. The only issue was when we arrived at our car the morning of departure, there was a sticker on the window that said we should have had a parking permit. At the time of our check-in, the registration attendant told us the locations available. Since we had parked in an area that was free, we left the car there. Nothing was said about needing a permit for that location.

Good downtown hotel

The hotel was in a great location for night time activity and all around Wichita. It got a little noisy due to it's great location, but not too bad

felt like a dungeon.

Pros: Staff
Cons: convert this room to a meeting room or storage room.
Location: Weather was too inclement to enjoy what could be interesting at another time.
room below ground level with non opening windows facing a courtyard and breakfast area. We had to keep blackout drapes closed at all times. No fresh air. People were great, room was a major disappointment.

I travel for work and stay in a lot of hotels. Super cool hotel and location. My only thing was the beds a little hard (but that's personal preference) and pillows weren't super full. Other than that it was great.

Good location with a few incidental issues

Posted 18-Feb-2017
Pros: Staff was helpful and friendly. Room clean. Bed was super comfortable.
Cons: The fridge wasn't cold. The hairdryer low setting didn't work. The lotion was previously used and nasty.
Location: Close to downtown, which was nice. The Coleman museum/outlet is a couple blocks away.
This is a good location for business travelers who need to be downtown. Minor problems include: $8.00 for parking in the tiny lot behind the hotel. Breakfast buffet is $10.95 (not included in price of room), but staff is uber helpful. As far as the room, it was clean and I liked having the temperature control accessible and accurate. This trip I didn't travel with lotion, shampoo, and yes those were in the bathroom. BUT, when I opened the little bottle of lotion it had obviously been used by someone else before me. It was almost empty and crusty on the top ICK!! Also, it was nice to have a fridge, but it doesn't have controls and seemed only barely cold. I was afraid the chicken I'd brought to eat during my stay would spoil by morning. And BTW, the hair dryer only has one setting - HIGH - the low setting didn't work.

Parking Kind of sucked.

Posted 29-Jan-2017
Pros: Close to our event
Cons: Parking. I see they are on it
Location: We attended a funeral at Salvation Army. Easy on and off highway.
Guy at check in/front desk was funny and GREAT! Construction going on around hotel. Parking was a bit hard to figure out. Not an easy handicap entrance.

Our go-to hotel when we want a night away from home to relax. Located in the middle of Oldtown activities with convenient parking.
