Comfortable beds, great breakfast, nice staff

We felt very comfortable here. The indoor pool was nice except it did smell like chlorine but that's with any indoor pool. There's only one elevator and a lot of workers came in that Sunday evening so we used the stairs a lot. The laundry facilities was a great bonus cause we needed to do laundry before heading home. Overall this was a nice place and I would stay here again.

Family Friendly!

Pros: Very friendly staff.
Cons: Better air conditioning units.
Location: We had quick access to plenty of restaurants and shopping in the area.
Other than the room being a little warm and taking some time to get cooled off this hotel was wonderful. They were very family and pet friendly. They were accommodating when my son wanted to sleep on a pallet of extra blankets on the floor instead of in bed. They took very good care of us.

The hotel was clean and comfortable! The workers at the front desk were very nice and prompt. All in all, it was a nice experience.

Good location

Location: The location is good. Tons of places to eat nearby. Right off major roads.
The front desk was very helpful and friendly. The room was cleaned promptly every day, even though the motel was booked for the weekend.

The lotion in the bathroom was empty so what else wasn't cleaned or replced. The towels didn't seem as clean as the should have been.

not up to standards for a carlson run propety. Normaly a country inn by carlson is a safe bet. this property was the exception. breakfast left a lot to be desired. got to breakfast area toward end of service and found food in warmer not held at proper temperature and no microwave available to warm food. this could be a health hazard as well as lousy service. settled for dry cereal with milk. entire hotel seemed to be due for a complete makeover.

Personal retreat

When I entered, the receptionists were very cordial. We had some problems with the plumbing in the room. I felt a little tension in the air when I left. The same receptionist who checked me in was extremely distant when I left. I thought they were going to at least empty the trash cans on the two days I was there.

The hotel room was good. No complaints on the comfort of the room, beds, bathroom, etc. The kids enjoyed the swimming pool which was a decent size and adequate for their enjoyment. The staff was friendly during check in and check out and throughout. My only complaint was we ate breakfast at the hotel the two mornings we were there. Both mornings arrived around 8 am where there was little to no food left. There was no silverware and I had to go through the drawers and cabinets myself to find plastic spoons to be used. It is not difficult to ensure that there would be at least paper plates and plastic silverware available. But it was free and you get what you pay for I assume.
