Upon arrival I waited 40 minutes for someone to arrive at the front desk and let me in. Once the person arrived they barely spoke English and were hard to understand. I was told there was no key for the room and I would have to use the master key to open the door. There was what appeared to be drugged out prostitutes walking through the parking area. I ended up leaving. I am disgusted to see this type of property among the places Expedia would stand behind to rent out to people.

Pick a different hitel
The hotel was in a seedy part if town. The front desk clerk would not accept my paid invoice and demanded cash. He spoke very little english so communication was an issue. There were bums loitering around the office.

Was no longer a Motel 6. Choose it because Motel 6 is usually consistent, OK, good service and clean rooms. This was no longer true.

It was OK
Traveling through, cheap stay, needs some repairs in bathroom, pillows were terrible. Had a microwave that we used. For the price, it was okay.

Enerything went well up until abt 130 in the morning when 3 people tried to get into my room !! Will never stay there again I was so scared I almost just checked out and drove back to ft worth

Room was pretty dirty. There was a pacifier under the bed and a opened box of condoms in the night stand drawer. staff was slow at check in but very nice.

A place to crash
It's a reasonable place close to the highway and downtown. The room was clean and I had a quiet restful sleep. The shower wasn't the best due to the tub draining slowly.

The person helping us at the desk was very nice. However, the room was terrible. We found cigarette butts, old bottle caps and water bottles on the floor that appeared to have been there for quite some time. It smelled like old urine because the room had not been cleaned. The amount of dust on the lamps by the bed was awful and the linen definitely had not been cleaned. We appreciate the good service from the desk but we will not be staying there again.

Good for the solo traveler needing some rest.
The Motel 6 in Wichita Falls was a little less than I expected but was totally what I expected for the great price. I really only needed a place to sleep for the night. Checking in was fairly easy and the room easy to find. The restroom smelled like someone just used it and it looked that way as well. I double checked the bed before I left for dinner to make sure I didn't need new sheets or to switch rooms. Slept for the night got up and left. I skipped the shower based on the looks of the tub. For the price, I would pay it again if I were the only one sleeping there. I won't be having my Wife & Kids stay here when we pass back through.

Front desk people were very nice.
The room suited its purpose. Just had a funny odor. The price was really reasonable and friendly service. Plenty of storage space. Bathroom needed work done. Rather out dated.

Great Stay at Motel 6 in Witchita Falls Tx
This is the third time that I've stayed at this Motel 6. I will continue to book this Motel. The room is always impeccably clean and staff is always friendly. I also love that they are pet friendly.

The room was falling a part. We were in a room with an adjoining door (which we didn't need) and the door in our room wouldn't lock. We had to push a chair against the door to feel safe. Also, there were other guests running around upstairs above us until 4am. Needless to say we didn't get much sleep.

Disgusting
This hotel is disgusting, no other way to describe it. The non-smoking room in the non-smoking property smelled of stale cigarette smoke. The bed comforter and blanket seem not to have been cleaned since the Nixon administration. The furniture, bathroom, carpet, etc., all have seen far better days. As others mentioned, bugs will join you during your stay. We just needed a bed to rest in a bit during a cross-country trip, and it served that purpose - minimally. I wish I had spent $5-10 more on another hotel that would have been much more pleasant. Motel 6 corporate should be ashamed of themselves for allowing this disgusting franchise property to carry its name. Stay away! A couple of pics of the highlights of the stay are included - the nasty tub and the smoke detector with empty battery chamber. Nice touch.

Stayed here two nights. The first night was fine, even though the bathroom door was stuck a bit and I was a little too tall for the bed. The second night we encountered a door lock that was broken and required help from the front desk (the lady there was very helpful) but also a comfortable and quiet room for a great price. I recommend this motel to anyone looking for a low-cost, no-frills place.

A Very Good Motel 6.
When my wife and I stay in a hotel we want to find a clean room, a comfortable bed and we want to feel welcomed and safe. Not paying an arm and a leg helps, too. Who cares if you're staying in a $120 a night hotel room with designer décor. The last time I checked you can't see those things when your sound asleep. We found the things we were looking for at this Motel 6 in Wichita Falls for only $46. The room was very clean and pleasant smelling. The bathroom was stocked with fresh towels and soaps. The big television worked properly and received plenty of channels. The room had a nice refrigerator and microwave. We even got free WiFi. The entire hotel's appearance was very clean and we felt safe during our night there. The staff was very friendly, too. This was our second stay at this hotel and we will stay here each time we visit Wichita Falls.

Business trip unexpected stay but hotel was convenient and price was good. Several fast food restaurants close but neighborhood wasn't greatest due to location. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would consider staying again.

This hotel is located right below I44, so you can hear traffic. It is convenient to drive to because of that. An older facility, clean, comfortable, and spacious. If you want an inexpensive and basic overnight location, this works. No frills, just adequate.

This was the filthiest room I've ever stayed in. Had we not had a mix-up with our reservation at a better hotel, we would not have stayed here. There weren't rooms left in town at that point. The door was not completely sealed and you could see daylight coming in through its edges. The commode had to be cleaned prior to being used. The countertops had old food, sticky blobs of unidentifiable substances, sticky drink cup rings, etc. on them. The towels smelled as though they were dirty. We used our own paper towels to dry off. The furniture had large stains and cigarette burns in them. Things had been wiped on the wall.

My first week, the room I was in was pretty rough. This week, they gave me a much nicer room and it's acceptable. Clean, bed and pillows are very comfortable. Weekly rates are great. Just call ahead.

A good value for a comfortable stay
This Motel 6 is huge, multiple buildings with plenty of parking. The room itself was pretty big too with a king sized bed. I'm not sure if all rooms are the same, but mine had a lot of furniture, including a desk and a huge entertainment center. The room also had a separate fridge and freezer, which was really nice to go along with a microwave. The wifi worked great and was available for no extra charge. Check in and check out times were speedy. Everything was clean as well. The motel is in a convenient location too, so definitely a plus if checking out Wichita Falls. While not a super fancy place, I would recommend this Motel 6 for an inexpensive stay.
Huge entertainment center. Microwave, fridge and a nice freezer.
Plenty of furniture, including a king sized bed.

I was only there for a single night and didn't need anything fancy, so I was actually very satisfied with what I received for the price despite my mediocre ratings. The main gripe we had was a musty smell in the room when we first walked in, but we got used to it, so it wasn't intolerable. They had complimentary soap, but no shampoo. No continental breakfast. The person at the front desk was very polite and courteous and was able to assist me with the questions I had.

One night is okay I guess
The first room I had was waaayyyyy small and the door didn't lock. Their were bugs on the lamp and tv. One of the lamps legs was missing. There was a connecting door that was covered by a desk in front of it. The fridge wasn't very cold at all. There was a microwave at least. The pic of the glass building is not as nice once you've seen it. The old motel 6 is literally right next to it and it's in a gross area. I wouldn't of stayed if I saw the location before hand. Not a place for a lady alone.

Not exactly what I expected of "recently renovated
Room cleaned first night, but not after that. Had to go to desk to get more towels and clerk acted put out. Unoccupied room doors left open throughout the night and day. Very uncomfortable experience.

Great stay for a great hotel.
The hotel was excellent. Very quiet, soft bed, great AC, brand new fridge and microwave and plenty of storage place. My 5 year old asked if we could live there. :) The only thing a little off was that the towels were a little thread-bare and there was no continental breakfast. But the water was hot and stayed hot through my long shower. For the price, I received MORE than what I paid for. Great stay.

Good for a night but won't go back.
Just needed a place to crash while passing through. The guy at the front desk double charged me and I'm still trying to get my money back. It was very loud as the other patrons were slamming doors and yelling. Probably won't stay there again if were ever go back through. But the room was decent except for the bathroom, which seemed to be built for someone less than 5 feet tall.
