Plenty of room for the grand kids.

Pros: I have stayed here several times while visiting family in Wichita. I keep coming back because of the size of the Queen suites, that have a pullout bed
I have stayed here several times while visiting family in Wichita. I keep coming back because of the size of the Queen suites, that have a pullout bed in the sofa. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is good. The workout room is helpful for keeping buff, or taking off those extra calories that you ate at breakfast. I will come back again.

Pros: Breakfast was decent.
Cons: Staff and management actually fix your mistakes. Do not try and cover them up and hide behind them.
So, lets start off with the bad. The hotel was not why this review is bad, it is the staff, management, and customer service of choice hotels. I paid through Expedia for a two night stay to take my kids to the exploration place in Wichita. Upon arrival the attendant stated all was well and that Expedia's payment was there. They needed my card for incidentals, which isn't uncommon, so I gave it to them. Upon leaving the hotel, the second night, I noticed I had a charge on my card from the hotel (directly from Quality Inn Suites Wichita by the Airport) for almost two hundred dollars (roughly). Here's where it gets interesting. I called customer service, they cannot help.... shocking. I tried the hotel and the front desk lady just kept saying the General Manager would call me back. Shocking... So i finally got a hold of the general manager and she stated they would stop payment and refund the money back to my account...... well.... 2 days later and nothing. Still got the charge, no refund, no support, no help. On hold now with choice hotel customer service and going to complain again. It isn't right that the hotel didn't do EVERYTHING possible to make me happy, considering you just charged me twice for a 2 night stay. WOULD NOT STAY HERE AGAIN!!!!

Overall I was pleased and surprised by the room they gave me. Very spacious. Bed very comfortable. The only thing is that it is very noisy, for example you can hear, especially at night everything that is happening outside in the common area and the water running in the other rooms. There was a little girl playing and screaming in the lobby at night about 10 pm. I called the front desk asking to take care of that which they were very kind and understandable. More than that it is a very decent place to stay for a couple of nights. I will stay there again

Overall a good value. The hotel is dated, but in overall good condition. The wifi is not exactly the fastest in the world, but if you're not in a hurry you should get what you need. The room had a microwave and refrigerator in good working order. Breakfast was hit and miss. On Tuesday and Thursday I found it really good, Wednesday and Friday was interesting to say the least. I compared notes with three other guys that stayed the week and they had similar thoughts on the breakfasts. The A/C nearly froze me out, but I consider that a plus and I never adjusted the temperature. The reception staff was friendly and housekeeping did an effective job. The elevator certificate had expired in May, but perhaps the new certificate was still being published. I didn't ask any staff member about it, but the elevator worked well. I drove past the entrance to the hotel nearly every time I went back , but I think that's more on me. I would stay again.

The hotel itself is a bit old but it is nice enough and clean enough. The room was really big and the bed was very comfortable. For this price range, this is a very nice hotel. I will definitely stay here next visit.
