"Stayed for three nights over a recent weekend to provide a base for gigs in three separate places (Bedford, London, Cambridge)...was decently priced (especially when I used one of my Hotel.com reward nights BUT I could have done better booking direct as they offered a three for the price of two deal including breakfast... I did buy breakfast on the Sunday morning BUT that was a mistake as the kitchen closed at ten (not eleven as per the website) and arriving at nine forty five I had little choice or selection - no sausages, a couple of bits of bacon and just a single scoop of beans...my bad!"

"We got upgraded from a classic double to the Mary queen of Scots room. The room was facing the main road, but it was so quiet, that you wouldn't have known. The room was really clean. The food was really tasty and well presented. That was both dinner and breakfast. The staff was amazing. We didn't want to leave. "
