"We had no idea what to expect with the foot ferry to Calais and transportation etc. with luggage in tow, but it was a nice walk to the terminal, so location was great. We climbed the cliffs of Dover after sundown and it was wonderful. The hotel was comfortable and on the water with a great view of the English Channel ship traffic, and sunrise. A beautiful location, close to shops and historic sites."

"An amazing hotel in a perfect location. Small room but compact and how often are you in your room for ! Breakfast was fantastic and loads to choose from. Had a singer on the friday evening who was really good too. will definitely be back"

"Centrally positioned about a twenty minute walk from the railway station near to the sea other pub’s restaurants and shops . Friendly and helpful staff . Room beautifully decorated clean and welcoming. Gift of a bottled beer a nice touch. Comfy bed , super shower. The building is on a junction so there is some road noise but not enough to truly disturb we both had good nights sleep"

"We absolutely loved our stay at the Honey Pod. Communication and instructions before arrival were wonderful and made everything so easy. The space itself is compact but has everything you need — a cozy kitchen/lounge area, comfortable bedroom, and clean bathroom. The wood burner hot tub in the garden was such a treat, perfect for relaxing under the stars. It’s beautifully secluded and feels like you’re tucked away in the middle of nowhere — peaceful, quiet, and magical. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and escape! "
