"Hotel in an excellent location for coastal and woodland walking with a regular bus service to other holiday locations nearby. Friendly staff provided a great service in the bar and restaurant which had a varied menu. We intend returning to this location. "
"The property was located in a quiet picturesque setting, greeted and supported very professionally by the owner. A very spacious, well appointed property.
Fantastic location a mere 5 minute drive to Newcastle airport, yet off the flight path so slept perfectly. "

10/10 Excellent
"The house was so clean and tidy, the beds were very comfy. We all loved our stay, especially with it being such a short distance to the beach. Beautiful weather on the second day of our stay made it a wonderful experience. Even on the first day, whilst it was rainy and grey the waves looked very dramatic. Highly recommended."
"I spent one night whilst visiting a friend and the hotel was absolutely ideal. Fantastic location on the beach front. All of the staff were friendly, the room was a decent size and very clean. Bathroom was also a good size with a powerful shower and extremely clean. It's a touch on the old side and is currently being renovated but honestly for the price it exceeded all expectations. The breakfast is genuinely superb as a particular highlight. "

8/10 Good
"Nicely done out. A couple of issues in terms of equipment - only one mug so we had to go out and buy one the following day. Also no potato peeler, cafetière (coffee machine needed capsules which are more expensive to buy). The outdoor area could have been made more attractive. The alley at the back was full of rubbish. We did receive quick feedback to our concerns about the mug and the lockpad being left on the code. "
