"Recently remodeled. Was a nice stay. Just wish the bathroom door would stay open on its own. That bathroom is too little to be closed in when showering so I had to prop the door open as it’s set up to close on its own."

"Very nice place to stay and a great location. Our room was very clean and not run down. We didn't have much interaction with the staff except when we checked in and out the next morning and that was quick and fast. The Breakfast was good, just wish they would have had biscuits and gravy,"

"This is an old property. You can tell that at one point it was an outright gem. Even so, it still has a lot of character and some great people working there. My first room wasn't the cleanest... I think the staff might have forgotten to finish up in the bathroom as another guest's clothes were hanging from the shower rod. I was pretty much going to ignore that because you can't beat the room price, and everything else was acceptable. I happened to walk by the front desk, and the attendant asked how the room was. I mentioned the hanging clothes and showed her a photo of it. She immediately insisted, "That is unacceptable" and upgraded me to a suite. Very well handled, and I was completely satisfied with the adjustment. I'll definitely be staying there again the next time I'm in the area."

"This is an adorable two-bedroom cottage, squeaky clean, with plenty of room for the family to spread out. The backyard is impeccably landscaped with lots of shade, large flagstone patio and plenty of seating, firepit, fan and gas grill. Our gracious host, Bruce, greeted us upon arrival. It's the perfect mid-town location with all the amenities of home. The charming '50's neighborhood is safe and walkable; Walgreens, Walmart, Wendys, and other shops are nearby, downtown is a 10-minute drive. I'll stay here again."

"While the hotel is beginning to show its age was pleasantly surprised to find our room had been cleaned and fresh towels out after the first night of a two night stay. Most hotels don’t do that anymore. Hotel was very convenient to St. Francis hospital and shares a parking lot with Saltt Grass Steakhouse."
