"The number one thing about this property is the staff! They are helpful, compassionate and so professional. This is the best place to stay before cruising out of Southampton. As you can imagine, they are constantly dealing with people who want to check in early after an overnight international flight, or who want to check out late because they can’t board their ship until after noon. They handle it all so well. Dining room was excellent and location allowed for quick walk to High Street and the historic walls. The property is beautifully renovated and very comfortable. "

"A lovely relaxing evening in the spa. Just what we needed to unwind from a stressful week at work. The hotel room was lovely and clean, with a comfortable bed. "Lovely hotel! Looks a little like a nursing home at the front, but lovely inside. Room was clean, spacious and had all the ammenities. We chrcked out at 5am to go to goodwood and the night staff were blooming lush! "
