IMPORTANT MAINTENANCE INFORMATION: Ongoing Glacier Lodge Property Projects - Courtyard Pool & Hot Tub Closure From Monday, June 9th, 2025, the courtyard (including the pool and hot tubs) will be closed to undergo the courtyard membrane replacement project. This closure is expected to continue until late fall 2026. During this time, construction noise is expected to be heard throughout the building, and construction will be visible from courtyard-facing unit. Rates have been adjusted accordingly on courtyard-facing units to acknowledge any inconvenience that may be experienced as a result of this project. Things to Know Important Maintenance Information - Ongoing Glacier Lodge Property Projects \>>> \*\*Courtyard Pool & Hot Tub Closure\*\* Starting Monday, June 9, 2025, the Courtyard, including the Pool and Hot Tubs, will be closed to begin the Courtyard Membrane Replacement Project. This closure is expected to continue until late fall 2026. Please note this general disruption schedule. A temporary winter enclosure tent will be erected in the 3rd week of November 2025, for approximately 4 months. The tent dimensions will be 16.5' high and 52' long. Which will be visible from all interior courtyard-facing units. October 2025 to January 2026 is mechanical work, which should have moderate to low noise and disruption. Intermittent construction noise will occur between January and June 2026\. Work will include: \- Concrete saw cutting for formwork \- Grinding of concrete \- General hand and power tool use (hammers, drills, compactors, lifts, jackhammers) All work will strictly follow the Whistler Municipal Bylaw construction hours. The work schedule is planned to commence between 8-9 am, and shifts will range between 10-12 hours, with work days concluding near 8 pm at the latest. We wish to inform all guests that room rates have been reviewed for this property during the amenities renovation and closure. The rates reflect the current status of operations. Mountain vacations require mountain condos, and this one definitely delivers! Walk in and immediately take comfort in a combined dining room and lounge area. The fully equipped kitchen can handle full meals or light après ski refreshments, and it's open enough that the chef isn't cut off from conversations. Head out to the private balcony and enjoy a glass of wine in the sun in the summer months. Head up to the PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola, the highest lift in the world at 435 meters /1,427 feet that runs guests from Blackcomb to Whistler Mountain. You'll have nearly 8,200 acres of ski runs and trails to explore during your stay. The cross-country skier will be able to enjoy over 130 km (80 miles) of trails. Of course, when it's time to relax after a long day on the mountain, enjoy a sandwich at Portobello or a drink at the Mallard Bar - both are within 500 meters (one-third of a mile) of the condo! Check-in time: 4:00 p.m. Check-out time: 10:00 a.m. All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. Over the Victoria Day long weekend (the weekend before the second-to-last Monday in May), all Vacasa properties in Whistler enforce a minimum booking age of 25. The unit itself is very dated ( not renovated) and very basic utilities. The sofa bed is so old , even kids don’t sleep well on the mattress that you feel every springs . It is a very old unit . But every unit at Glacier is privately own , so some units are in great shape and renovated as some others are not . This one is not . Overprice for the unit you get . We enjoyed the hot tub very much. The room was very warm, so I would say temperature control is a bit of an issue. We were able to contact the front desk for some issues and questions and they were helpful. We didn't find the wobbling fan in the closet until the night before we left. There was only one soap bar .Used up in 2 days and no other to be found . Like wise fore the kitchen . Nothing, It felt like a low rent hotel room. The only plus was the location. We visited with our kids on the upper floor. The unit was very nice. It was no frills with hotel like furniture from the 90s and poorly laid out kitchen and light switches. There was a tiny TV in the main room and no TV in the bedroom. Only there was a strong food smell when we arrived, so we had to keep windows open for a couple of hours. Disappointing that pool was closed due to some safety issues (fence collapsed).
