"I’ve been traveling to the Cabot trail for decades, the area itself is somewhat remote with no adjacency to city centres but the scenery is unmatched.
We stayed in cabin F, had a coffee maker and fridge with a bbq available for each room in the cabin.
It’s a minute walk to a fantastic beach where you can catch a pretty fantastic sun rise. The sunsets behind the property over the water which is also beautiful but to see the sun come up over the cliffs with the keltic lodge and Cape Smokey in the distance is pretty amazing.
There is a restaurant on site we didn’t get a chance to stop in but it close to some great little stops along the trail. "
"What a hidden gem. We had the suite on the main floor and it was fantastic. Huge living room kitchen area and then a separate room with a king size bed. It doesn't look like much from the outside but fantastic suite. Would highly recommend. Plus, head to The Doryman for dinner...the food was great."
"Love the cute little cottage, right along the Cabot trail, it was perfect, quiet at night, had everything we needed. We had a great dinner meal at the on-site restaurant. It was a very pleasant experience. "

"Brian was very quick with communication and provides a lot of great info up front to make this a smooth and easy booking and check in process. We only had a very short stay, but would definitely return. Ideal location to many interesting parts of the Cabot Trail. The RV was very clean and very well stocked! We didn’t have time to meet any of the other guests or share the camp fire but we could tell the others seemed to enjoy it. Our only recommendation would be for a more firm mattress, the bed is kind of a typical of an RV setup and although the memory foam topper is a nice addition the base foam is lacking support and sagging in two rows. Nothing can beat the convenience and location and the excellent communication with the hosts! We’d love to return with more time next time. "
"We had a great experience staying here! The room was clean and had a beautiful view of the river. Cathy and Greg also gave us a fantastic restaurant recommendation as well! We will be back in the future and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay on their travels. "
"To be honest, we had a little trouble finding the camper. I think that was VRBO's fault though, and the fact that our US sat/nav wasn't working in Canada. But we did find it. The camper is very nice and clean, with everything that we needed for a pleasant stay. It was very nice to find that the owner of the property lives right next door, and when we needed a reboot of our breakers, he was right there to fix it immediately. All in all, a very pleasant experience!! Wish it had been the summer so we could have used those kayaks I read about, but 40 degrees F was a bit cold for my blood. "
