Had a lwonderful 3 nights at the cumberland mark was a very good host,we stayed in room 9 which had sea view, room was cleaned every day had all tea coffee replenished daily, very nice breakfast each morning cereals , fresh fruit , and full english tea coffee fruit juices overall was a wonderful 3 nights in a lovely b&b would score it 5/5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Cumberland. Our room on the second floor was spacious with a lovely sea view. The room was well appointed. Breakfasts were outstanding.

A short walk from the station & a delightful place to stay with huge amounts of storage space. The owners are helpful & the breakfast was far superior to any provided by many an “upmarket” hotel or chain.

A little gem in Weymouth!!
Great location on the Esplanade & within easy access to the train station. Our room & the public areas were all very clean. Lots of storage space in our room with plenty of towels/face cloths provided. Lovely shower gel & hand/body lotion provided too. The breakfast selection was very impressive with a good range of hot & cold items and we were made to feel very welcome by our hosts. Would have absolutely no problem in returning to the Cumberland!!

Great hotel. Very clean. Comfy beds. Fabulous service - the owners had a genuine desire to make our stay as nice as possible. Lovely breakfast. Right on the beach. Will definitely be returning. Highly recommended.

Perfect B & B stay,
Lovely traditional B & B in the heart of Weymouth. Really busy on arrival so no onsite parking was a bit of a pain. That said our room 12 on the 3rd floor was cute, clean and had everything we needed with a sea view from a small top floor window. Unfit people (like us) or with poor mobility would find the 3 flights of stairs a challenge. Floor 2 had the optimum sea views where you’d be able to sit on the small balcony watching the world go by. Breakfast was brilliant, wide choice nicely presented, perfectly poached egg and as much as you wanted. Really nice, warm couple who deserve to do well. Highly recommend. P. S. Stumbled on the Sea Beats Seafood Bistro. Turn right out of the B & B, blue shack on the same side of the road. Unpretentious little place who served the best seafood I’ve ever had, fabulous food!

Claire & Mark are the perfect hosts.very welcoming & Very attentive to all your needs. The personal little touches (toiletries etc )in our room were perfect. My only draw back is that we had to come home and leave weymouth behind . Amazing breakfast too !

Fantastic short break
We had an amazing 3 night stay at The Cumberland. Our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable with plenty of storage, and a lovely sea view. The hotel felt modern, and tastefully decorated. Tea, coffee, and biscuits etc provided daily. Worth a special mention was the breakfast, which was beautifully prepared and delicious. Mark and Claire were very friendly and the perfect hosts. This was our second stay here and the only thing that will prevent us staying here again will be if it’s fully booked.

Cumberland Hotel Weymouth
This is the second time we've stayed at the Cumberland and loved our stày there.Its spotlessly clean wonderful breakfast freshly cooked .Im vegetarian and was catered for which was a nice surprise. Mark and Claire are amazing hosts nothing is too much trouble.We will be back for sure.
