"My husband and I rented this beautiful cottage as a place to relax after finishing the work of packing up and selling our house. We were pretty exhausted and needed time to just “ do nothing” and plan our year of travel. We can’t say enough about the cottage. The beds were so comfortable and the pellet stove provided a cozy warmth while we sat in the living room enjoying the sunset in the evening. The kitchen was well stocked and easy to work in. It was a pleasure to eat our meals at the cottage rather than go out to a restaurant. The beach front has a lovely wooden bench swing , picnic area, and fire pit . There is plenty of space to walk and explore the lake- great place to walk the dog. Though we were here to relax, this place is perfect for a family on a summer vacation looking to swim, fish, and have fun. We met or goal of relaxing and enjoyed every minute here. The owner was very responsive to our needs and easy to communicate with. There was no downside to our stay."

"I was super happy with the whole experience at this cabin. Clean, new, and close to everything we wanted to do: hike, visit waterfalls and Lake Superior, go to the Ice Festival, and Eben Ice Caves. These being seperate units, they were super quiet. We didn't hear our neighbors at all. The windows let in the natural beauty right outside the door, and has ample windows for natural light. I read someone comment they thought the mattress was thin, i didn't find that to be true. They may have updated them, but the master bed had a thick memory foam mattress. Had a great time, and definitely will stay again. "
