The staff was excellent, the food service for our convention was the best we've seen. Everyone was polite and if we needed it, we got it quickly. The pools were great, and the hot tub was just what we needed. Our room was clean and warm. A variety of parking locations was very convenient. There were plenty of places nearby if you leave the hotel, but we had a great breakfast at the grab-n-go location inside, and it was reasonably priced. And we felt the welcoming beverage at the table in the lobby made us feel special and well taken care of (great hot cider!) The bathroom was clean in our room, and the little soaps were better than average. The towels were nice, and nothing smelled funny.
Overall the hotel is very functional and served our team well in that it was very close to the venues we had to visit. The hotel staff were all very accommodating and helpful. Rooms were basic but well maintained and housekeeping was excellent. There was some construction going on I the floor above but the noise was kept to a minimum and did not adversely affect my stay. Location was perfect regarding choice of restaurants for meals. There are numerous eateries with walking distance or a short drive along Randall. The hotel does offer a basic continental breakfast delivered in self-serve buffet style consisting of: individually boxed cereals, choices of milk, breads, bagels, etc, scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, and a meat item either a sausage patty or Canadian bacon. One can also make their own waffles. Fresh fruit choices consisted of apples and bananas and there was also cut up melon salad available. Drink choices included milk, orange juice, apple juice, coffee and tea. As I mentioned earlier a very basic offering but decent, cleanly prepared and presented and very satisfying as the day's starter meal. Would definitely return to this establishment.
Stayed at the hotel because of a wedding close by. Easy access near where the car was parked. The room was clean and updated and loved that the kitchen had actual dishes. The bed was very comfortable too.
