"confused staff"
On check in, couldnt see that i had already paid thru expedia and wanted to double charge me. Reservation staff/expert gone all weekend. No person to discuss activities - gone all weekend. I was directed into the wrong parking spot... huge confusion. No maid/cleaning service Sunday. Great hotel spoiled by staff or lack there of interaction

"TOTAL VALUE AND VERY HELPFUL"
Travelling the Garden Route from PE to Cape Town. Travelling as a couple we wanted accommodation that we make full use of all the facilities, and catch up on our washing. We had a sat nav so the place was easy to find. Lots of things to do nearby if the whales are not about, wine tours. Shark Cage diving. The owner even helped us book the Cape Canopy Tours near Cape Town, excellent value and more scary than shark cage diving. The owner Gill, is a lovely lady and helps you out with anything you need. Hermanus is a lovely tourist type town. I would definitely stop here again. Thanks for your help Gill.

Pocket Guide: Apartment Hotels in Western Cape

    Apartment Hotels in Western Cape

Apartment hotels in the Western Cape can be a good money-saving option, especially when travelling with friends or family. The extra space is great for large groups, and you get all the comforts of home thrown in too. While self-catering apartments are sometimes plainer, more functional accommodation spaces, this isn’t always the case. You’ll find some lavishly decorated, luxuriously appointed suites and apartments in the Western Cape, some of which offer weekly, twice-weekly or even daily housekeeping.

What to Expect from Your Western Cape Apartment Hotel

Holiday apartments and suites in the Western Cape are available for bookings year-round. They are usually fully equipped and furnished holiday apartments, and can either be self-contained suites in a hotel or privately owned vacation rentals. Apartment hotels often include amenities not usually found in hotel rooms, including washing machines, dryers and dishwashers. High-speed internet is a common feature, allowing apartment hotel guests to catch up on business or keep in touch with family during their stay in Western Cape.

    Shopping, Supplies and Family Fun

Guests looking to stock up the larder in their Western Cape apartment will be spoilt for choice. There’s masses of fresh produce at Cape Town’s markets, much of it organic and locally grown. Head to the Earth Fair Market in the suburb of Tokai to pick up fresh produce, free-range meats and specialty breads. If you don’t fancy cooking yourself, buy some hot meals at the bustling Bay Harbour Market in Hout Bay, which takes places on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Families staying in self-catering apartment can choose from a range of child-friendly attractions. The exhilarating rides and petting zoo at Ratanga Junction will put a smile on the kids’ faces, while the interactive exhibits of the Cape Town Science Centre will engage their minds.

A Relaxing Base for Your Western Cape Stay

Day trips to attractions and shopping can be tiring. After a long day exploring the Western Cape, you’ll love returning to a spacious apartment to prepare a home-cooked meal or just stretch out and relax. Use Expedia’s search filters to find the perfect Western Cape apartment hotel for you.
