"Thank you for a wonderful stay with great service. Bavo (excuse me if wrongly spelt) was extremely helpful and welcoming. We stayed here twice on our trip up and down to Scandinavia and the service was excellent. A home from home feel which is lovely when travelling as a family. "

"Staff were friendly and helpful, we can converse well comfortably in English with them. Storage room is a bonus, we could leave the bully items after check out, so we can explore Bruges city center. Lift at the courtyard is very helpful. There are water dispenser and microwave at the common lounge for guests to use. About 20 minutes walk from Bruges train station and less than 10 minutes to reach the edge of the city center. Ample sitting space in the reception and common lounge. Downside is tower heating rail in the bathroom was slightly rusty at the bottom. Another thing is only having decaf coffee in the room. Pretty sure the reception desk would kindly sort this out, in the end we weren't too fussed about it. "

"Hotel was able to check me in early. Sarah, the front desk receptionist on-duty, provided tips on how to make the best of my stay. Amongst others, she provided the name of a restaurant that serves authentic Flemish food in this UNESCO-listed, historic City. This restaurant, De Vlaamsche Pot, is located a short walk away from Hotel Putje. I had dinner there. Hotel Putje is near the Brugge Train Station. It is surprisely quiet."
