Lovely hotel, great facilities.

Posted 16-Aug-2015
Pros: Location, staff, rooms, leisure facilities.
Location: Very close to Birstall shopping complex with a wide variety of eateries and shops. Just off the motorway and well signposted.
Nice staff, big modern rooms with coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, iPod dock, and toiletries in the bathroom. Leisure facilities were great although I had to pay a supplement to use them as I'd booked through a third party website not direct with the Village. Good breakfast although the sausages ran out and my little boy wanted seconds!! Overall a very pleasant stay, I wouldn't hesitate to return.

Nice comfortable Hotel.

Posted 10-Aug-2015
Pros: Quiet, comfortable clean rooms, with good breakfast.
Location: Very close to the motorway, so great location.
Stayed here 1 night recently as we had a family party in nearby Batley. We wanted to stay in a larger hotel instead of a local B&B as you never know what they could be like. We were very impressed, staff on check in desk very polite and room very clean and comfortable. The room was quiet even though close to the motorway, and breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. The only thing I was disappointed in was the price at £110 a night I did feel this was a bit much but otherwise pleasant stay.

Sehr modernes, großes Hotel in guter Lage

Posted 28-Jul-2015

Really nice hotel. Good service. Let down slightly by breakfast - had to ask 3 times for a boiled egg... they kept forgetting!

Poor service

Posted 26-May-2015 on Hotels
Air conditioning broken! Complaint made straight away nothing done until day 2 of the staff when someone would "look at it" after getting in that day nothing was fixed so went to reception where they said "someone would be out in the week to fix it" which was obviously no use to me!! I had to ask to switch rooms this wasn't offered- nothing was done to compensate the previous night either. Worst service I have had in a hotel.

Great facilities and staff, disappointing food.

The food was over priced because the steak was very disappointing. 80 quid for two with a bottle of wine. Everything else was fine. The room could have done with a clock though we missed breakfast!
