We elected to upgrade to the Upper Deck room - as promised better views, better beds, Starbucks coffee , sky movies.. This is all greatly exaggerated and not in the slightest worth the money what so ever. We were staying with two young children and choose the hotel as it had a large pool for them to play and be occupied. The gym members made us feel most unwelcome - dirty looks, the staff were the same - of not worse and we were only allowed certain times. If it wants to be a health club for members they shouldn't advertise themselves as a hotel as well. As clearly they don't run well as both. We were made to feel as intruders when we were paying quite a lot of money to stay and use the facilities....
Showers cold and barely worked, no toilet paper in any of the toilets and generally unkempt changing facilities.
We spent an afternoon in the Starbucks cafe with the two children . There were many many business types working in lap tops again giving us dirty looks for invading their work space - appeared to me it was a hotel - but they obviously run more as a business meeting place , gym membership and hotel rooms on top. I felt furious at this point as we were paying good money to stay here not hide in out room - with barely any sky's channels and lacking wifi performance.
Don't stay unless you're on your own for business..
