It was really useful that I was early to arrive and allowed to check in early.all staff superb and no complaints. Def will book here again soon.

Staff went out of their way to be courteous. Only stayed here because my usual hotels were full. Would certainly consider again.

I didn't enjoy my stay at the met We went allowed to book in until 4pm. I wasn't informed of this until we arrived for check in at 2pm. We asked for a coffee and we were charged almost £10 for two cups. I think it was a disgrace and should have been complimentary as we couldn't get into our room because of maintenance. Then when we got in the sink was blocked in the bathroom and it was smelly and disgusting. The skirting boards where dirty and the windows where dirty too. I wouldn't give it 4 stars maybe it should be a 21st are. We certainly won't be going back there. I also wouldn't recommend the met either.

Classic comfort in the city centre

Booked a superior room on friends advice...it was great. Everything in the room worked well. Would have liked to be able to control temperature in the room but no personal AC/heat. It was not a problem during our stay.

A good night away

Pros: It's position, it's style and the staff
Cons: The price of a Bailey's coffee was very expensive.
The hotel was very close to the railway station and easy to find. Very convenient for the shops, restaurants and the theatre. It is a fine old building that has an elegant and modern interior. The staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was good.

Pretty good, the chap on reception was excellent! Hotel is nice but a bit tired.
