Beautiful hotel centrally located

Posted 26-Jul-2016
We chose this hotel for its excellent location and on a previous recommendation from my daughter. The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is beautiful and our room was wonderful with an excellent bathroom. Breakfast great, check out quick.

The hotel was perfect for our needs. Great location and a very aesthetically pleasing hotel. The only thing was that the parking is not controlled as there is an uncontrolled access from the rear entrance to the car park. We booked one of the limited car parking spaces and upon arrival there was a car parked in our space. Upon inquiring the receptionist informed me that it was a car not belongoing to anyone in the hotel. Therefore I had to park on the street. The pay and display had a max stay of 2 hours. Therefore I had to wake up twice to pay for parking after 8am.

City break

Posted 21-Jun-2016
Pros: Staff very helpful and friendly.
Cons: Nothing
Location: Great city to walk around, loads of good bars and restaurants. And very close to train station but not in range of any noise or disturbance from them
Hotel couldn't be better placed for travellers using the train. City centre within easy walk, lots of cafes and bar/restaurants near by. Hotel staff very pleasant and accommodating. Spotlessly clean quality toiletries which were replaced as used along with water daily and quality tea and coffee facilities. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel

Posted 18-Jun-2016 on Hotels
The room I had was just off reception and was well sized but at pavement level and the front of the hotel which meant that passing traffic could be heard easily which did lead to a disturbed nights sleep! Breakfast was great and the hotel was nice and clean. If offered the front reception rooms think twice.

Lovely hotel in convenient city centre location.

A short break in Leeds, at Quebecs Hotel, was very enjoyable. Excellent location close to railway station and city centre. All staff we encountered on our room only stay were extremely helpful and courteous. Our room was very comfortable, we would return to Quebecs even though we could get much cheaper accommodation.

Excellent if you want to pay a bit for quality.

Posted 09-Jun-2016 on Hotels
The room was comfortable and, like the hotel, interesting, and the bathroom well-designed and fully functional. The only thing I missed was a hairdryer. There is no restaurant, but a pleasant breakfast room on the 4th floor with an excellent breakfast, cooked to order. Downstairs there is a small but adequate bar which remains open (served by the night receptionist) for guests and their guests virtually as long as you need. I paid about what I would expect to pay for this level of quality in a provincial city.

Noise-affected hotel very close to railway

Posted 30-May-2016
Pros: The powerful shower and the comfortable mattress. The in-room fridge.
Cons: Noise insulation. Lack of attention to detail e.g. blown lightbulbs
Location: Located very close to railway and hence ideal for train travellers. Also close to Trinity shopping centre.
A decent enough place but the location on a main artery means it is very noisy even with the poorly fitted secondary glazing. Even with earplugs in at night. The furniture is old fashioned and dark brown, and with the traditional decor can feel a bit oppressive. The bathroom was very smart although having no window suffered from a lack of decent lighting, as most do. There is a mismatch between what is stated in the room info book and what actually happens. For example, it is strongly suggested that valuables are placed in the wee safe provided, but no safe key was offered at check in. Similarly it is stated that there is evening turn down, though this didn't materialise. No maps were available, etc etc. A case of talking a good game and then not following through. Location was very convenient as I travelled by train. Cannot comment on catering as I didn't eat at the hotel. Water and biscuits provided.

Why use Premier Inn?

Excellent stay at Quebecs in Leeds City Centre. Well run Hotel in historic building that deserves your support or the world will be overrun by character-less Motels. Great restaurant below the Hotel as well.
