Good hotel well positioned for the city

Posted 10-Jan-2018
I have stayed here a number of times and always very pleased with my room. This time I was disappointed to have what must be the smallest room in the hotel. The bed is still comfortable and the room clean but I would expect some recognition of my loyalty by means of room allocation.

Stunning hotel in the heart of Leeds

Posted 04-Jan-2018
Pros: Beautiful hotel, room was stunning and relaxing... It felt more like home than a hotel... Lovely bath with plenty of hot water,, perfect breakfast.
Cons: Air conditioning was very noisy and car park was a joke
Location: Gusto's Italian meal.... Excellent food and wine at a decent price
Hotel was lovely, staff were helpful and friendly, room was stunning, a perfect breakfast while watching the snow fall down. However 2 small faults... 1, Air conditioning was noisy which affected my sleep 2, The car park area is a joke...I literally "could not swing a cat" in said space,( for the price of an extra £15). Overall, I would definitely return....I would just park somewhere else... We had a wonderful experience for our first time, staying in Leeds.

Great hotel in central location

Posted 02-Jan-2018
Pros: location and style.
Location: central location. 2 mins from train station, 5 mins walk to main shopping district, theatre's and restaurants.
Beautiful hotel formerly the Liberal club, which has kept many of its original features which we appreciate. Our room was very pleasant and the bed was comfortable. Excellent breakfast served in the conservatory on the 4th floor with views over Leeds rooftops. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Great hotel, hard to find!!!

Posted 16-Dec-2017
The rooms were fabulous, staff were extremely helpful and very pleasant. The down sides, after driving for a couple of hours to get there trying to find the place even using sat nav and hotel directions was a nightmare, then once we found it there was nowhere to park due to the limited spaces available (7 I believe) so then had to rejoin the traffic to find car park. Although there was food available in the bar I would have expected a restaurant so was disappointed. However saying all that I would stay there again (now I know how to reach it) and certainly recommend it.

Pete Tong overnighter

Posted 14-Dec-2017
Pros: Good old world charm and fantastic staff.
Cons: Room away from the road
Location: Right in the heart of the city, loads of great shops, restaurants and bars.
Had been given tickets to see Pete Tong at the Leeds Arena, thought my good lady and I would make a few days of it, and decided to book something above the normal Premier Inn stamp. Upon arrival (about two and a half hours before check-in time), we were greeted by a very bubbly and informative receptionist, only too happy to help us, she was happy for us to leave our case and stored it securely for us, gave us directions around the city, and where would be best to eat. The room itself was fantastic, bearing in mind it was probably one of their smallest, it was very spacious, the bed was so comfortable (slept like a log). Breakfast in the Conservatory was perfect (poached eggs on toast, coffee and juice), again the staff were so professional, nothing was too much trouble. Oh, and did I mention it is 1 minute walk from the train station and right alongside the shopping arcades. Thoroughly recommend to anyone.

Amazing receptionist

Posted 04-Dec-2017
Pros: Was all fabulous
Cons: Nothing
Location: 2 minutes from the train station and Trinity shpping centre 5 - 10 minutes to Victoria quieter (much nicer shops!) 15 mins stroll to Playhouse
We were greeted by Caroline - who it seems has the most amazing memory, called us (and every other guest) who came through reception by their name, remembered where we said we were going and asked how our day had been. We arrived too early to check in but left our bags - and they were in our room on our return. Lateish drink in the bar - night porter was truly funny Very comfortable bed, very good black out curtains - asked for some extra decaf coffee - it arrived within 2 minutes, even managed to park in the tint car park - although I believe the alternative parking is really close. Great location for getting into town or taking the train out of town (we went to York for the Christmas market) A really personal service - would definitely recommend it. Jacqui and Steve

Great located hotel with lovely staff. Our room was nice but had a strange vibration. Breakfast was delicious.
