Like a small family-run hotel
The welcome was warm and friendly, the room was immaculate (my wife is particularly fussy on cleanliness of room, bed sheets, bathroom and it passed her test.
We chatted to David in the bar and Catherine the Genaral Manager and they became like good friends in by the end of our two night stay. The building, both inside and out, oozes style and grandeur, but without overwhelming the senses.
The hotel is about a minute's walk from the station, which is good as car parking is not their strong point.
All rooms along the front suffer slightly from traffic noise from Quebec Street (despite the double glazing) but, if this worries you, the hotel staff will do everything they can to relocate you.
