Central hotel with great views!

Easy walking distance to everything and only a few metres from the train station. Great views of the city! Generously sized rooms with modern decor ! No parking however, you need to park in the local Q Parks at £12 a day with the hotels discount voucher - however no one told us this was available before we went :-( also put a card behind the desk if you don't want to walk down to reception at midnight to order room service :-(

Handy location

Pros: Liked location, good air conditioning/heating. Quiet room.
Cons: Check in was desperately slow which my colleagues commented on as well. Staff need some processing/efficiency training.
Location: Near station, near Trinity centre (shopping/food)
Nice hotel close to train station. I have stayed in a few around this area and this one is reasonable.

Reasonable hotel in a good location

Location: Leeds train Station Lots of shopping centres Numerous bars and pubs
On initial arrival I found that the reception area was quite close to the main entrance and got quite crowded when a group of 8 people arrived who immediately blocked the entry/exit doorway due to the poor layout. The staff were quite accomodating and allowed me a slightly earlier check in which I had requested a day earlier. The room was clean and tidy but again the layout was poor, I found that my bed was right next to the door, something that I found off putting as the light in the corridor shone through and you could hear the other residents walk to their respective rooms. There is off site parking at a nearby multi-storey car park which is discounted by the hotel. Breakfast was self service, there was plenty to choose from that included full English breakfast, cereal, continental breakfast or other healthier options. Overall I would stay here again.

slightly dated decor in need of some TLC and lifts where problematic ~ all 3 of them kept missing my floor i was standing there a long time on the 6th floor. good steak though in the restaurant

Location: Das Hotel ist in City Centre, vor der Tür unzählige Shoppingsmöglichkeiten, Kinos, Märkte, Bahnhof, Kirche, etc...
Sehr comfortable, zentral gelegen, excellenter Service, sauber, Zimmer sehr gut ausgestattet, tolle View! Eine fantastische Woche im Park Plaza Hotel Leeds ist nur empfehlenswert! :-)

Convenient and Clean Hotel.

Really helpful reception and bag storage. Generally good service and comfortable beds. Big breakfast selection but the cooked buffet breakfast food was barely warm and not very nice. Room decor felt a bit tired but was clean and the tea/coffee facilities were good. OK for an overnight stay.

Expensive mistake

I booked direct with the hotel - a rate of £109. Unfortunately I booked the wrong night (the night before) and so when I tried to book in the hotel rightly said I had no booking for the night. They offered a room at £189 saying this was the only room they had available (and would not negotiate on the rate). As it was 7:30 pm I needed to book. I checked the price with Hotels.com and found a room here for £159. When I pointed this out, the hotel still refused to reduce their rate. I booked with Hotels.com. I understand this was my fault entirely but I'm a bit irritated that the hotel tried to take advantage of my position on the day. 27 September 2016.

Hotel horror

I found when I was checking and stuff was not very helpful was very ignorant and then the room was not very clean as there was a stain on the carpet broken tiles in the bathroom and black stuff on the tiles then woke up in the morning to go for breakfast in the restaurant found on my food which was a pastry cake something crawling over my food that looks like a caterpillar reported it to the restaurant and shown them they apologised and that was the end of that so when I was checking out I asked to speak to the manager of the hotel - apparently she knew all about it and made no attempt to contact me back at my room and told me that someone will be in touch to discuss this matter further also when I checked in I asked them if there was any parking they told me now but when I was checking out I was asked by another member of staff if I had a parking voucher for the car park I said no because I was told that you never had a carpark only to find out that there is a recommended car park by the hotel that they offer you a voucher but it was too late by then I had parked somewhere else because I was told no carpark.
