Nice hotel, just outside main area of leeds

Posted 06-Jul-2016
Pros: see above
Cons: see above
Location: no idea, University 6-7 miles away
Wanted a place for the university that also had car parking. This is about 7 miles away and easy to get to and from (but avoid rush hour). Nice hotel, slightly shabby but no problem. Wifi on an account system but easy sign up (why do they insist on this????) and not bad speed. Facilities good and easy to use. Had a ground floor room (down from reception!) with a nice small sitting area outside. The only real issue is that there is no net curtain so you either have everyone going past looking straight in or you have the thick curtains closed...not well thought out that one. For a double room not many tea and coffee items and 1 shampoo and 1 shower gel. Other than that it had a bath not just a shower which is nice Overall I liked the place, it was a decent price and I will come back so that has to be a good sign.

Good for car parking poor for room service

Posted 13-Jun-2016
There was a lot of parking area, which is one of the things we wanted to insure. The reception area and bar areas were very good. However the room maintenance left things to be desired, like on a daily bases, needing to call for items not left during clean up. The room we were assigned was up four flights of stairs and no lift accessible for that area, which turned out to be a bit annoying.

Needs a facelift

Posted 05-Jun-2016
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Needs a facelift. Old and worn out hotel
Location: N/A
Took too long to check in. Agent tried to charge me twice for the prepaid stay. I paid for breakfast bust it didn't show the next morning that I had. Room was old and worn out with a weird stench. Felt very uncomfortable during the entire stay.

Nice hotel short bus ride from Leeds centre

Posted 31-May-2016
Pros: Nice rooms, clean environment.
Cons: Check-in.
Location: Leeds close bus ride along with other small towns.
Nice enough hotel, though our room was not ready on check in even though we arrived over half an hour after said check-in time. Room was big enough and nice bathroom. Nice selection of tea's in the room and comfy bed. Though our toilet dripped all through the night when filling up,

Nice hotel that needs some renovation

Posted 23-May-2016
Pros: The health club facility was a bonus.
Cons: Décor of the whole hotel.
Location: Leeds City Centre was a £12-£14 taxi ride.
The staff around the hotel were all friendly and professional. The fabric of the hotel itself is however in need of some renovation.

Friendly hotel reasonable price but a little tired

Great welcome on reception. Comfy bed and clean room. Corridors and rooms need a major sprucing up.

Not a bad hotel in need of renovation and tlc

Posted 14-Apr-2016 on Hotels
Bit of an outdated hotel gym and pool definetly need a bit of tlc quite old. Room was nice and wifi ok but it kept connection on and off. Has room service as I was working all day and tired called and receptionist tried to put me through to restaurant it just kept ringing and ringing, I had to put the phone down and order through the receptionist. Not a bad hotel and the price was ok for what it was.
