Well located Hotel

Posted 01-Nov-2016
Pros: Location, breakfasts and bar area.
Cons: Upgrade the bathrooms; spend some money on room refurbishment and maintenance.
Easy access to Leeds City and the Dales by car or bus which is what I was after. Let down by a too narrow shower which leaked water over bathroom floor. Bar and dining areas very nicely appointed and generally decent food but standard needs to be consistently good.

Very comfortable and value for money

Posted 08-Oct-2016
Pros: Friendly staff and very good facilities, lovely breakfast too.
Cons: The only little extra that would be nice is a few more ea bags in the room.
Location: Handy location for North Leeds - just on edge of countryside which was really pleasant but easy to get back into Leeds.

Good for the price

Posted 02-Oct-2016
I stayed with a group of 10 people, and so we had five rooms between us. Three of the rooms were lovely and modern, however, two rooms were really old fashioned and out the way. I didn't mind this as it was only for a few nights. A nicer room would've been nice, and I'd probably have rated higher. For the price of £56 a night, this wasn't bad at all. I've rated low for the staff, as they weren't very welcoming at all at reception, and looked like they were ready to go home.

Lovely hotel to stay at

Posted 28-Sep-2016
Pros: Room size, the state of the hotel, cleanliness
Cons: The shower was terrible. It needs to be sorted out. I also wish the room had been sound proofed better
Very impressed with size of room and the state, its cleanliness and the quality etc. There was a small amount of noise from the corridor but minimal really. Perhaps they could have sound proofed the rooms a touch more and the shower needed to be fixed but overall it served my purpose quite adequately.

Gret few days R&R

Posted 25-Sep-2016
Cons: The bus service is not the most reliable - would recommemnt using a car as they have ample parking
Had a great satay in this hotel - reading some of the other reviews, I thought didn't go in with the highest expectations, and although slightly dated, the hotel satff more than make up for it by being welcoming and helpful.
