Location: next to the center, next to bars and night clubs; close to the train station
Great location, great room, great staff. Some minor issues - no drawer on the night stand, no toilet brush, the soap desintegrated after 2 days and nobody changed it. Maybe a little overpriced.

Dark hotel

Posted 22-Aug-2016
It was an average hotel - considering I paid extra for a club room, I wasn't impressed with it, very average with basic bathroom. My biggest problem with this hotel is that it is very dark everywhere. Corridors were so badly lit I bumped into staff. If this is a feature of Malmasin, I would never stay with them again Location was great and very good staff

2 Night Stay for Graduation

Posted 24-Jul-2016
The experience at the hotel was poor from check in when we found our room had been allocated to the previous guest who decided to stay an extra night. This is a shame as we actually liked the hotel and its location. Especially poor was service in the bar, on our first night we had to wait 15 minutes for our drinks, I also had to go to the front desk to pay as the card machines in the bar were out of order. On the second day, at lunchtime we wanted to have a drink with our daughter prior to her graduation ceremony, we were asked to take a seat and told we would be served, After waiting 15 minutes with no one taking our order, we had to leave without a drink to get a taxi - not the start I wanted to my daughters special day. Additionally the WiFi in the hotel did not work, resultung in all of my party eating significantly into our data allowances - a hidden extra cost. On the plus side, the hotel was able to get us a discount on parking in nearby Trinity car park. The hotel also has well marked fire exits, which proved useful when we had to evacuate at 5:30am due to the alarm going off, the hotel provided a cocktail voucher to acknowledge the inconvenience if this.

Nice place shame about the meal deal snore

Posted 07-Jul-2016 on Hotels
Stay in lovely hotel rather marred by pushing of meal deals and then consequent confusion between restaurant and reception what meal deal I had bought and what it included. Just wanted quick dinner and glass of wine after long day, but spent much time discussing deal nonsense which I didn't want in first place. Annoying. Still, comfy hotel!
