Hotel in Leeds city centre

Posted 08-Aug-2016
Pros: There is valet parking available and a nice swimming pool.
Cons: The hotel is in desperate need of updating, the room interior and the corridors look a bit sorry for themselves. You could replace the lighbulbs too.
Location: Location is brilliant. It's near to train station and the shopping area.
We chose to stay there as we were in Leeds to see a gig and I stayed at the hotel way back when. We had a really nice meal in the restaurant there. Reception and restaurant staff were all friendly and welcoming.

Very central

Posted 07-Aug-2016
Pros: It's location to everything, very central and in a lovely little square
Cons: A spring clean of the rooms the things that don't get moved need a good clean
Location: It is near to shops restaurants and the train station
This was a good hotel but the rooms needed cleaning in areas where you didn't look to closely. But over all the room and bed where very clean and simple the facilities where very good. Staff were very helpful and it is a fabulous location for the train station and shopping.

Great Central hotel close to station and amenities

Posted 26-Jul-2016
We chose this hotel as it was close to the train station (about a 5 minute walk) and Millennium Square (about an 8 minute walk) for a gig. The main shopping centre is across the street with a wide choice of bars and restaurants a short walk away. Hotel was spotlessly clean as was our large room. We didn't eat in the hotel or use the pool and facilities due to our plans , but they were also spotless and we heard some good comments. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely go back and would recommend this hotel.

Pros: Location and value for money.
Cons: Better ventilation of bathroom as there was a slight smell of damp, especially on the shower curtain.
Location: Great central location close to the shopping centre, restaurants, and lots of cultural attractions in central Leeds.
The hotel was in a great location, 5 minutes walk from the train station and across the road from the main shopping centre. Given the central location, the hotel was very quiet and had a pleasant atmosphere, which was a nice surprise! Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was large and clean, and the bed was very comfy. There was also a gym and swimming pool in the basement, both are well maintained and the gym was generously equipped given its size. Overall would definitely recommend staying here.

Handy hotel

Posted 12-Jun-2016
Good hotel close to the centre of Leeds and the railway station. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Hotel facilities good, rooms very spacious, breakfast average nothing different from other hotels, disappointing bar facilities more like a pub and playing dance type music could do with a quiet residents bar.

Great location for shopping and nights out

Posted 06-Jun-2016
Really central and nice to use the dos facilities and great breakfast. Rooms get quite warm but have reasonably effective air con - noisy if windows open because of the busy location obviously. We parked in wood house car park for £11 for 24 hours as it's chorale than most and about a 20 minute walk
