Over night stay Leeds Centre

Posted 24-Aug-2015
Pros: See above.
Cons: The bar.
Location: Leeds has plenty to offer in terms of restaurants and shopping. We are at Bibbi's which was excellent.
The hotel was not up to the standard of other Hilton or Double Tree hotels Iwe have stayed in. Room was basic with insufficient refreshments I.e tea and coffee & not biscuits. Hotel bar was well below standard. Stella & Magna's was "off". No Bacardi, no Martini. No crisps and dry roasted peanuts ran out. Cost coffee was served in a take away cup when the other 5 guests in the group were drinking from the bar within the hotel lounge. / bar area. Breakfast however was excellent.

Hotel is very convenient for Leeds Train Station and despite being so close to the station was very quiet. The room was quite small but very clean and had all we needed.

stayed three nights for a Christian women's conference at First Direct arena. The room smelt of cigarettes but we kept the window open. Staff very friendly and helpful. we were able to leave our bags after we checked out and return in the evening to pick them up
