Location: Bars shops everything
Stayed one night bar area modern fresh very warm welcome even got a free glass of wine location ideal in city centre parking near by ticks all boxes

Old Dated Hotel, good location

Hotel was in a good location but was very dated. the room was big enough but was old and very warm. the ceiling fan didnt work so we did have the windows open all the time and there was alot of noise from outside.

Leeds hotel

Had a one night stay and the room was what i expected for the money. A nice, clean, comfy, but basic hotel room. The reception staff where really friendly when we arrived and on departure, made sure that we got the correct car parking voucher. Bonus!

Very good hotel - value for money and very good location in the centre of Leeds for me to stagger back to after a night out with work. Would definitely stay again and would recommend.

Don't stay if you want to actually sleep!

Terrible stay, very little sleep despite my request for a quiet room (which are available as I have stayed here with no problems before) I was given a room next to the door leading to the main corridor so lots of noisy people coming back at all times. I just thought I was unlucky on the first night so didn't make a fuss but the following night was even worse. It sounded like the party in the next room was going on in my room so I cracked at about 4am and shouted at everyone to keep it down. A member of staff was one of the people I asked to keep the noise down as I found out a few hours later. When I checked out I found the attitude of the receptionist a bit off, I explained how noisy it had been and pointed out that I had requested a quiet room, she was indifferent and didn't seem to take my complaint seriously. The room I stayed in needed some serious refurbishment. Two divans pushed together make for a very uncomfortable bed, the soft lumpy sprung mattress badly needed to join the rest of the pile of old mattresses dumped at the back of the hotel. The floortiles in the bathroom were badly cracked, the bath panel didn't fit properly and the entire room needed a proper deep clean. Love Leeds but won't be staying at the Cosmopolitan again.

The room allocated near a door on a mid week stay rarely causes any problems and I am sorry that this was your experience. The member of staff was actually speaking to a guest who sadly was causing a disturbance as you have identified and the guest was asked to leave. This was out of the hotels hands and most unusual mid week certainly and addressed as promptly and professionally as possible. I am sorry you found the decor dated, we have refurbished 20 bedrooms completely with more planned and are in the process of a soft refurbishment on other rooms. This is an on-going process and we do try and make sure all our rooms are well maintained and cleaned to a high standard It is most unusual to read poor comments regards the cleaning of our rooms which I am very sorry to hear. The king size beds are not simply two divans pushed together but bought specifically by hotel industry as multi function beds. They join seamlessly and all our beds also have comfort toppers and we receive excellent feedback on the comfort of our beds and I am sorry that this was not you own personal experience. As you have pointed out we are constantly checking and replacing beds and any beds that do not meet our standards are removed and changed. It is disappointing that following a previous stay that you would now not consider staying with us once again. It is disappointing that the receptionist who also typically receives great feedback was also a further cause of concern to yourself and this will be addressed with the member of staff. I do hope that you would reconsider this and give us the opportunity to restore your faith in us. Kind Regards Cindy Customer Services
