Decor is very stripey. Didn't like the DIY check in. Our booking was for two rooms, but unfortunately they were on different floors. Lesson learned, next time I'll specify that they should be close to each other. Food served in pub was good. After showering in the wet room in the evening, the floor ...
Hotel ideal location -central.Room facilities basic but OK. Hotel has pub attached. No food was available in pub on arrival (2pm). Breakfast was fine with full English plus many cereal alternatives. On checking out, the lady, whom I assume was the manageress/proprietor told me she that I would have ...
Well situated in the centre of the city. Rooms are spacious, simply furnished , comfortable and clean. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a city break in Leeds.
I enjoyed the stay at this hotel. Due to time restraints we were unable to access all the available facilities like the indoor pool, the sauna, fitness centre and restaurant.
Hotel is nice but quite dated could do with abit TLC. Surroundings of the hotel are nice. The staff were friendly. We had a meal in the bar area it was quite pricey for what you got. The hotel was convenient for us as it's only 2 miles from the airport.
These apartments are by far the best Hebden Bridge option. They are extremely well equipped, and even ecologically sound. More or less perfect.
Yorkshire has long been a favourite destination for visitors who enjoy sporting activities in the great outdoors. You can enjoy everything from snowboarding and mountain boarding to archery, survival courses, white-water rafting and rambling in this endlessly varied landscape. The road and rail links are excellent so it's easy to get around. One of the best ideas if you're a sporty type is to book in to a suitable adventure sport hotel in West Yorkshire to enjoy a world of excitement and fresh air right on your doorstep. For kids and adults alike, groups and families, West Yorkshire is the United Kingdom's premier locale for sporting activities in beautiful surroundings.
The Yorkshire Dales is a particularly attractive area for such activities, caving and climbing being particularly popular here. The Three Peaks Challenge is one of the famous walks and you can practice things like navigation skills on organised orienteering courses. There are also adventure theme parks right across the county, and if you're based in a West Yorkshire adventure sport hotel you can easily get along to the likes of Go Ape at Dalby Forest in the north or Log Heights in Ripley.
West Yorkshire adventure sport hotels such as The Craven Heifer in Ilkley and Village Hotel Leeds North in Leeds will provide you with all the facilities you need for the duration of your stay here. Some of these hotels have their own spa facilities, like The Bridge Hotel and Spa in Wetherby, and they all offer a full range of excellent services. All are either close to areas like the Yorkshire Dales or Pennines where you can practice your sport or else have their own facilities on-site and easy access to others.
If you're keen on hiking and rambling you'll find the county criss-crossed with established trails for your walking enjoyment, including many in the wilds of Ilkley Moor in the north, a particular favourite. Once you're booked in to a suitable West Yorkshire adventure sport hotel or guesthouse you'll have no end of sporting activities to look forward to.
