Once the sat nav says you have reached your destination you need to keep going for a couple of hundred yards or so. Good food and beer; nice and quiet and good view from the patio.
Beautiful room in this small hotel. Breakfast was delightful. The menu was not traditional and I had yogurt with fresh fruit and seeds followed by Eggs, spinach, mushrooms and extra bacon! The staff were really helpful and friendly.
We booked through the website looking for a room for 2 adults and picked one from the list shown on Expedia, unfortunately an error with the system meant it booked us a room that is only meant for 1. This took quite some time to deal with on the phone to Expedia, but eventually the hotel pulled through ...
A nice hotel with lots of periodic features the bars and restaurants are lovely too, one minor problem is that we had to collect our own car due to the metal roller have being jammed in the valet parking lot and was not even offered a discount or a refund for this.
Yorkshire has long been a favourite destination for visitors who enjoy sporting activities in the great outdoors. You can enjoy everything from snowboarding and mountain boarding to archery, survival courses, white-water rafting and rambling in this endlessly varied landscape. The road and rail links are excellent so it's easy to get around. One of the best ideas if you're a sporty type is to book in to a suitable adventure sport hotel in West Yorkshire to enjoy a world of excitement and fresh air right on your doorstep. For kids and adults alike, groups and families, West Yorkshire is the United Kingdom's premier locale for sporting activities in beautiful surroundings.
The Yorkshire Dales is a particularly attractive area for such activities, caving and climbing being particularly popular here. The Three Peaks Challenge is one of the famous walks and you can practice things like navigation skills on organised orienteering courses. There are also adventure theme parks right across the county, and if you're based in a West Yorkshire adventure sport hotel you can easily get along to the likes of Go Ape at Dalby Forest in the north or Log Heights in Ripley.
West Yorkshire adventure sport hotels such as The Craven Heifer in Ilkley and Village Hotel Leeds North in Leeds will provide you with all the facilities you need for the duration of your stay here. Some of these hotels have their own spa facilities, like The Bridge Hotel and Spa in Wetherby, and they all offer a full range of excellent services. All are either close to areas like the Yorkshire Dales or Pennines where you can practice your sport or else have their own facilities on-site and easy access to others.
If you're keen on hiking and rambling you'll find the county criss-crossed with established trails for your walking enjoyment, including many in the wilds of Ilkley Moor in the north, a particular favourite. Once you're booked in to a suitable West Yorkshire adventure sport hotel or guesthouse you'll have no end of sporting activities to look forward to.
