Amazing room.

Great stay. Bathroom was perfect. Cleanliness needs more attention, bath had limescale and there was some dust in the room. Overall, great stay.

Nice boutique hotel not ideal for business travel

Posted 18-Oct-2016
Headlines: Good central location No car parking (local discounts) Noisy, despite partial secondary glazing. Ask for a room overlooking the canel. Friendly front desk staff Quirky rooms, nice interior design Chunky room key that you wouldn't want to carry out with you unless you have a handbag. Uncomfortably hard bed which smelled of the previous sweaty occupier. Very poor wifi speed Nice toiletries Cleanliness could be petty (hair on carpet) Breakfast overpriced (c.£17 in restaurant or £7 for a muffin and coffee to take away). Just a few doors away, left out of the hotel, there's a small local cafe place very good value. Overall, paid £103.50 for a 'Deluxe Double' without breakfast. This wasn't good value especially concerning the room standard. Style over substance.

Not a boutique hotel

Posted 03-Oct-2016
The rooms were last decorated in the 80s, the bed is extremely uncomfortable and the room very dirty. The manager is quite the rudest man I have ever met. Oh and there is a sign in the bathroom saying 'this is not drinking water'

Nice Hotel

Posted 31-Aug-2016 on Hotels
We arrived late on the Sunday of the Aug bank holiday after arriving back from Paris and was greeted by very friendly staff. Me and my husband was offered a free complementary glass of wine which was lovely. Your room was in the basement of the hotel which as very big and roomy overlooking the river Aire, vitality as the building was once a old Mill. Nice and clean tho we had to evicte a few spiders!!! Everything you need trouser press iron ect. The only downside is the noise from partiers at the the local nightclub over the river (this may off been because of the Leeds Festival taking place over the weekend) tho personally it was just my husband that heard it!!! There was a mini bar stocked with snacks, wine beer tho expensive so we did bother. Didn't bother having breakfast as I thought 14.95 was a bit steep in price. Overall a great place for a stopover in a prime location in Leeds right next to all the trendy bars and restaurants. I would return here if I was staying in Leeds again. Nice hotel.

Short but sweet. .

Stayed at this hotel for 1 night as attending Leeds Festival. Staff were lovely and as we were too early to check in they held our luggage and when we got back in the early hours our luggage had been placed in our room. The room itself was very cosy and clean just what we needed after a long day out we would love to have spent more time there.

Great with minor complaints

Posted 18-Aug-2016 on Hotels
Good to see the loose tile in the bathroom had been re-grouted in room 107. A few minor things missing from the room (eg. facial tissues, laundry bag, etc) but other than that a comfortable stay with no noise interruption. Oh, yeah, breakfast was missing french toast but only realised towards the end and I was feeling rather full. Check-in was smooth. Wi-fi is still best unconnected and 3G/4G used instead - wi-fi is dire. Bathroom floor was a bit slippery, or is that just a sign that it's clean? Iron was clean and free of burn marks.

Really enjoyed our stay here, beautiful clean rooms, stunning views of the river, and a very friendly experience, much better than a big hotel

Great hotel

Posted 09-Aug-2016 on Hotels
Had another great stay at this hotel where every room is a surprise with their exposed wooden beams and restored metal from the flour mill days. Service was very good and reception took time to explain the various features of the hotel. Did not have an issue with noise even though I was facing the canal. Their wifi needs desperate improving though; its virtually un-useable. Breakfast was a highlight.
