It's a great place, the Beachcroft, if you're looking for a cosy and unpretentious nook for the entire family. Nothing's too much trouble for the staff and they'll take your stay seriously. Happily go again and again.

"Situated close by the A27, two miles from the City"
Stayed for four days during September 2016, having plenty of free parking spaces. Fairly easy access to the north (Midhurst) and to the south (Itchenor). However, the roads whilst being well maintained are generally quite narrow and are extremely 'busy' traffic wise. Found it easier to walk to the City centre and back to the Hotel. There are a number of quite amazing historic sites to visit within the City walls and also, the differing styles of other buildings within the area reflect this 'historic thread' throughout the ages, from ancient to modern Could not easily assimilate bus routes. Few stops displayed timetables/route maps and as the roads are narrow, there were few (if any) 'Bus Lanes' Eating at restaurants within the City was slightly challenging: a) Because of a diverse and sometime strange mix of national/International culinary choices and b) Differing opening/closing hours for Luncheon or, evening Dinner However, within the City, in addition to the traditional 'High Street' companies, there are quite a few 'Independent' retailers providing a variety of quite unique items. You could spend two/three days just walking the City!!

"Fabulous boutique hotel / B&B"
I absolutely loved this hotel from the first moment I laid eyes on it. Imagine a country French style house completely gutted and remodeled in a modern zen style. Everything from the decor to the scented candles when you walk in is meant to make you feel calm and centered. The owner personally cooks breakfast to order each morning at whatever time you need. Conveniently located to Gatwick Airport, although we actually stayed for the Goodwood Revival Festival which causes all local hotels to book up a year in advance--I had to cast a wider net to find a place to stay and low and behold, this was perfect. All in all, a wonderful little bolthole to escape from the world.

"Great hotel and food"
This was our second visit to The White Horse and was just as good. Great accommodation and food and plenty of parking space. Only comment was the fluorescent down lighters need replacing with LED as they take too long to achieve a workable brightness in the bathroom of the Hare room. Definitely stay again.

"Room service!! "
Hotel staff were friendly. Room was clean apart from a half squeezed tube of savalon, which I suppose could have dropped out of the cleaners pocket. The only issues we had were that after an eight hour drive we arrived at 9:15 pm and room service finished at 9pm. Spent the night starving. Our room was next to reception which was ok until 7am when people started talking on phones and to other guests. I would recommend this hotel though as they were the only problems.
