"Literally inside the airport"
Ok, so the room was extremely small, even for just 1 person, but it didn't hide this from the room description so that is fair enough. Bed is super comfy, tv is good and the location is amazing if you are flying early the next day. The wetroom/bathroom is badly designed though, if you have a shower the entire room is just a large puddle for several hours afterwards, so make sure having a shower is the last thing you need to do in there! Oh the extra £10 or whatever it was to upgrade to a room with a window was pointless, my view was of a roof with loads of air con units outside of it, but it was nice to get some natural light in there. Overall, a decent hotel if you need to fly the next morning.

"Nice spot, connected to airport, good food"
I have to say I wasn't sure what to expect since the hotel was connected to one of the terminals at the airport. However that made it easy to both get there and leave the morning of my flight home. The room was quite large compared to other rooms I saw in the area before booking this one. Was able to check in early with the Expedia Plus membership which was nice as I just went in as soon as I landed. A few things could use a bit of updating but the room itself was very comfortable and the hotel had several different restaurants and bars to choose from so I didn't have to venture out in the cold to experience some local cuisine and super friendly staff. Considering it was a very short stay for me I was incredibly pleased and glad I decided to upgrade my hotel and pay maybe an extra few dollars to get a much better and much more convenient room and a lovely hotel.

"Convenient for overnight stay before flight. "
Conveniently Close to Purple Parking, the hotel is clean and basic with comfortable beds. There is no atmosphere in the bar restaurant but it is only short walk to Gatwick Manor restaurant. Some of the Overnight parking is undercover which is a bonus if you are leaving early, we stayed in January and left for the airport in the very early hours, and our car was frost free, but the charge for parking overnight is £7.

"great hotel and value"
I was skeptical when I booked this hotel because the price seemed low for a hotel close to Gatwick - I stayed in hotels in and around london in the past and to find anything good was triple + the price - but since the reviews were good and it would have been only for a night I thought why not - I am glad I did - room was not very big but had everything we needed bathroom seemed to have recently been redone - very clean (and I am a clean maniac) friendly service. Amazing Value

"Great People, Great Room, and a Fantastic Pub"
We had about 18 hours to kill between flights out of Gatwick and just wanted a nice pub so hang out at for the night and that is exactly what we got. In a small little town that was basically a B&B, Pub, gorgeous old church, and a fantastic pub we had an amazing night. The staff from the owners, bar keeps, and Posh Bob everyone made us feel very welcome and special. I don't think they are all too used to Americans stopping by so that led to great conversations and great fun. The pub had amazing food, especially the dinner pies and English breakfast. They had a few great local cast beers and even local Sussex wine (who knew!?!?). The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable! Above all though the people are the reason to go and keep coming back. Cheers to everyone we met and we can't wait to see them all again!

"Confortable room"
With trains on strike, lucky to get on the net a good price and very near work. Friendly and helpful staff and a very clean hotel. Was a bit disappointed with the size of the room. Found it small comparing with other hotels graded the same. Was very disappointed with the total lack of catering for smokers. One either smokes by the Hotel front door with no protection from rain, wind, cold .... and no where to sit or, one can smoke in the area outside the bistro with no protection from the rain, wind, cold ....., the tables and chairs all wet, and without any security for the hotel guest- no hotel windows facing this area in the back car park next to a very busy round about with openings to the street. Smokers are charged the same as non smokers but have no where to sit down and relax while enjoying a cigarette. For this reason I rate this hotel 3 out of 5.

"Exceeded expectations. "
Great location but no hotel parking. Adjacent car park costs £7 per day (but only £1.20 per hour). it was very busy on Saturday afternoon but OK at other times, but this is not high season! Staff very friendly and helpful. The dinner and breakfast were both very good; good quality ingredients, interesting menu, and well presented Bedroom very clean, nicely decorated and good quality cotton bedding.
