"Confortable room"
With trains on strike, lucky to get on the net a good price and very near work. Friendly and helpful staff and a very clean hotel. Was a bit disappointed with the size of the room. Found it small comparing with other hotels graded the same. Was very disappointed with the total lack of catering for smokers. One either smokes by the Hotel front door with no protection from rain, wind, cold .... and no where to sit or, one can smoke in the area outside the bistro with no protection from the rain, wind, cold ....., the tables and chairs all wet, and without any security for the hotel guest- no hotel windows facing this area in the back car park next to a very busy round about with openings to the street. Smokers are charged the same as non smokers but have no where to sit down and relax while enjoying a cigarette. For this reason I rate this hotel 3 out of 5.

"Great seafront location"
Right on the seafront with large private car park. Lovely restaurant with attentive staff, food was cooked fresh and was excellent! Bedroom was ok for one night but quite dated and slight musty smell. Could do with redecorating artexed walls and replacing scratched, mdf furniture. bathroom is tiny and shower not very powerful but adequate. Did not use Swimming pool as it was being refurbished during my visit. Would visit again if ever I'm down that way.

Pocket Guide: Best Western Hotels in West Sussex

There's an abundance of places to visit and lots to see and do in West Sussex. From castles such as Arundel, the fairy-tale castle established on Christmas Day 1067 by Roger de Montgomery, to the award winning East Beach Café in Littlehampton constructed by Thomas Heatherwick in 2007, this beautiful county seamlessly blends the ancient and the modern. And with excellent transport links from the east and west of the United Kingdom, plus with the county only an hour away from London, a Best Western hotel break in West Sussex makes a perfect and accessible getaway.

Best Western Hotels in West Sussex

Best Western Hotels in West Sussex are modern, clean and comfortable. Rooms types vary from single and family rooms to deluxe rooms and executive suites while accessible rooms are also available. Facilities in Best Western hotels include WiFi, room service, laundry services and tea/coffee making facilities in each room.

    West Sussex Towns

From Bognor Regis to Worthing, the county of West Sussex is full of delights and surprises. Bognor Regis was once an upmarket holiday destination but its shingle beach and pleasant climate all year round still makes it a popular tourist hotspot. Steyning is an ancient town and one of the prettiest in West Sussex with a high street lined with lots of independent retailers plus a festival that takes place every May. Haywards Heath has an impressive collection of Victorian and Edwardian houses, a miniature railway and, in Victoria Park and Beech Hurst Gardens, two great places to relax and enjoy a picnic. As soon as you step outside your Best Western Hotel, you'll be amazed by all that West Sussex has to offer.

    West Sussex Beaches

West Sussex also enjoys some of the finest coastline and beaches in England, many of which are blue flag. West Wittering, one of the best, is a long stretch of sand overlooked by colourful beach huts, less well known is Climping Beach tucked away between Littlehampton and Bognor, while Middleton on Sea beach is a sandy beach that's ideal for bathing and for coastal walks. With its beaches and countryside, the county of West Sussex is coloured both golden and green, making it the ideal destination for short breaks and longer holidays in a Best Western hotel.
