The Springfields Hotel

Springfield Park Road, Horsham - Map

"Convenient small hotel for Horsham area"
The hotel is small but well run. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, and the breakfast is good. Beefs were the cramped car park (shared with a day school -- so may not be room to park if you arrive during the day), and the WiFi which was not working in the rooms when I was there, necessitating trips down to the breakfast room to check e-mail and do work -- very inconvenient. But I was told that was being fixed. Would have got 4 stars if the WiFi had been working.

"Excellent B&B."
A four night stay in a very comfortable B&B set back sufficiently from a main A road to avoid noise or disturbance but with easy access to nearby points of interest. Friendly owners, very good breakfast, free access, parking and good facilities.

Three Bridges B&B

"Comfortable bed and breakfast near station"
I was in there area so that I could pick things up in Crawley. Only a few minutes walk from the station and about a twenty minute walk from shops in Crawley. The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. The staff I did not see much, but when I did they were helpful and asked if they could help. It was easy to get into Brighton for sight seeing and less than an hour into London.

"Our stay"
The most unusual thing about this B&B was the bed. It was a 6ft and was extremely comfortable. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The choices for breakfast were great and the full English well cooked, not greasy. A nice touch was supplying parking vouchers as they do not have their own parking area. Will definitely use them again.

"Peaceful countryside location"
I have stayed at Flossies numerous times in the past as it is in a very peaceful location. The new owners seem very enthusiastic to improve the site generally and I wish them all the best in improving the site. Breakfast was adequate although as I was the only guest on the 1 day stay it is difficult to assess how efficient the service would be if there were more guests stating

Pocket Guide: Bed and Breakfast Hotels in West Sussex

West Sussex is close to London and served by London Gatwick Airport. The climate is one of the mildest in the United Kingdom, and with plenty of historical attractions such as Bramber Castle, seaside towns and stunning beaches, it’s easy to see why West Sussex is such a popular tourist and holiday destination. A bed and breakfast hotel gives you the option of a short break or longer holiday in West Sussex, and lets you stay in accommodation that's cosy and comfortable while exploring a county that is rich in culture, history and nature.

    West Sussex Towns

From fishing to firework displays, there are so many reasons to visit West Sussex. The ancient town of Steyning is one of the prettiest in West Sussex with a high street lined with lots of independent retailers and a festival that takes place every May. Bognor Regis was founded over 200 years ago as an upmarket resort and perfectly encapsulates the idyll of a British seaside town. Elsewhere, Cocking is a lovely little village three miles south of Midhurst and tucked away at the foot of the South Downs National Park. Chichester, the only city in West Sussex, is a site of major historical importance, not least because of the cathedral that's over 900 years old and stands proudly in the heart of the city. A bed and breakfast hotel stay in West Sussex lets you discover and explore this delightful county at your leisure.

    West Sussex Attractions

Perched on top of a knoll overlooking the river Adur are the remains of a Norman castle. Bramber Castle was built soon after the Norman Conquest so that William I could defend his territories. A 14 metre high wall is all that remains. Arundel Castle, built around the same time, was lovingly restored by Henry the 15th Duke of Norfolk in the 19th Century and perfectly delivers on the idea of a fairy tale castle.
