Our hosts made us very welcome and were there to greet us as we arrived. The room was comfortable and clean with everything we needed. Breakfast the next day was served by helpful staff and just what we needed before starting our journey home. Overall an enjoyable experience and we would stay again.

"Great Staff and Large spacious rooms"
Reception is a small area as you come through the entrance doors and up a small flight of stairs. I was arrived around 6pm on Thursday evening and was attended to straight away. The hotel bar / restaurant was to the left of the reception area by the stairs to the rooms and to the right of reception was the Hotels Restaurant called Gio's. I was on the first floor in a double room. Room was very spacious with high ceilings. Contained double wardrobe with small safe (£10 deposit required) inside. Large double bed, matress was a bit on the soft side for me, but it was fine. Decor plain white walls in need of a touch up. Large TV on wall opposite bed. Door leading to spacious bathroom with basin area and separate bath with shower attached. Staff were extremely friendly without being over bearing and wherever I went in the hotel the staff always said hello and enquired if I was ok. Whenever I asked a question or for something they were courteous and inevitably would be able to help me out. The hotel is directly across the road from the beach so not far to travel to the walk along the beach if you should so wish. Adjoining the hotel is a Chinese Restaurant called Imperial China which was extremely busy on the Friday evening and banged out to the Rafters on Saturday night so unfortunately I did not get to taste their food. I did get to have a meal in the Hotel bar area and it was lovely.

"Great stay "
Stayed one night while attending a friends funeral - Staff and hosts were attentive and knowledgable- Our twin room was clean and tidy and perfectly adequate for myself and a friend. Some of the fixtures and fitting could do with an upgrade but overall a great stay!

"Great seafront location"
Right on the seafront with large private car park. Lovely restaurant with attentive staff, food was cooked fresh and was excellent! Bedroom was ok for one night but quite dated and slight musty smell. Could do with redecorating artexed walls and replacing scratched, mdf furniture. bathroom is tiny and shower not very powerful but adequate. Did not use Swimming pool as it was being refurbished during my visit. Would visit again if ever I'm down that way.

Pocket Guide: Beach Hotels in West Sussex

The county of West Sussex combines coast and countryside, pretty villages, market towns and, in Chichester, a bustling city sited on one of the oldest recorded settlements in England. It lies on the south coast and is bordered by East Sussex, Surrey to the north and Hampshire to the west. As such, it is easy to get to from London and from the south west. A beach hotel break in West Sussex means that you'll be holidaying in one of the most delightful parts of the United Kingdom.

    Beaches in West Sussex

Beaches in West Sussex are clean, varied and plentiful. Bracklesham Bay is in a sandy bay and excellent for a wide variety of water sports including scuba diving, surfing and sea canoeing. Littlehampton is a well-developed beach resort with a fair and a theme park. Bognor Regis is a predominantly shingle beach which gives way to sand at low tide, while to the east of Bognor Regis is Middleton on Sea beach, a sandy beach that's ideal for bathing and for coastal walks.

If you're looking for somewhere quiet and rural, Climping Beach is tucked away between Littlehampton and Bognor, while West Wittering is undoubtedly the best beach on the West Sussex coast. West Wittering Beach is large, unspoilt and has gorgeous views of the South Downs and Chichester harbour. It's also a popular choice for families due to its good facilities including colourful beach huts, tidal pools and extensive grasslands. No matter which West Sussex beach hotel you choose to stay in, you'll find a hotel with excellent facilities for all the family, close to a beach that's both pristine and safe.
