"The room we stayed in was newly renovated. We really liked the bathroom renovations - granite countertop, modern vanity, rain shower head, quality fixtures. The mini fridge freezer and fridge also worked really well, although the cabinet housing it was rather tired. The indoor pool is well-maintained and even has a lift for the disabled. We also had excellent housekeeping (we were there 8 days). They continue to serve a substantial breakfast every morning (eggs, bacon or sausage, toast, belgian waffles, bagels, pastries, yogurt, cereal, juices, fruit). The only really con in our view is the lobby and staircase, both of which were so worn we almost walked out when we first arrived."

"the hotel room wasn't great, but the location is, your right on the main strip, everything is within walking distance, you also get complementary coffee and pastries from the shop next door. The best pastries on the island hands down!! The staff was wonderful. Really more like family, everyone was just so nice. I will bring my family back to the Maddox. we enjoyed it evry much. Thank you. "

"This property was under a bit of construction so the layout was challenging. Any doubts I had about the hotel immediately dissipated when I met the front desk staff. He walked outside to help us find the check in desk, directed me around the construction and was beyond helpful. The rooms themselves were great. Bathroom was spotless and beds were comfortable. They also included the basics like a hair dryer, tv and wifi. Once the updates are made I imagine this place will be in such demand! "
