A Great Affordable Hotel
My experience at Hotel Bero was overall very positive. The location was really great; a 5 minute walk from the beach is amazing for a vacation. The room was clean and cozy. The bed was comfortable and the bathtub was really big. The staff were polite and informative. I would definitely go back for another visit if I'm ever in Ostend again.

Very good and enjoyable stay
The team at the reception was wonderful, took care of each request and issue, everything was well organized due to the Covid restrictions. Very rich breakfast, good location, very good SPA. Big room

Nice for a weekend place to sleep
Not the easiest place to find, and parking is extremely limited. We arrived around 10 p.m. only to find out we were supposed to reserve parking. Fortunately there is a public car park about 2 blocks away. We didn’t spend much time there during the day, so parking was much cheaper that way. The beds were fairly comfortable, but the room was a little cramped for 4 people. It was ok for us since we only slept there. Breakfast was nice - lots of meats and cheeses, fruit, etc. They also had eggs, sausage, and bacon, but the bacon seemed about half cooked, and it and the eggs were cold before I got to my table. Great selection of breads. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

First time at this hotel
Great hotel, near to the beach, shops, and transport. The hotel was very clean with good size rooms. The aircon was much needed. Great shower that got a lot of use.Nice that a fridge was supplied too.From checkin to leaving everything was excellent. We didn't use the pool, sauna or steam room.

Scotch Malt Whisky Society bar inside hotel. Wow.
Very nice hotel for the area. What was a huge surprise was that there is a whisky bar that is part of the Scotch Malt Whisky Society, which if you're into scotch is a big deal. No complaints at all, just wish the bed was a bit more comfy

A relaxing stay just a minute away from the beach
Our room had an amazing view on the north sea and was very functional but the decoration seems a bit out of place. The bathroom is a great feature with a lot of space and a big open shower. Steep price to pay, but it is worth it for a good adventure followed by a relaxing time at the baths on site.

Excellent hotel in a good position.
Very welcoming and friendly staff and a comfortable room which was spacious and provided everything we required. There was a very good range of food for breakfast and it was particularly pleasing that members of the Bero family were present to supervise.

Perfectly located hotel. No AC unless you pay for a premium room. Also bathroom is separated into two. One for toilet and shower, and another for sink, so if you want to use the restroom in the middle of the night, you need to make two different stops to wash your hands after...breakfast is solid

Very friendly, comfortable Hotel. The leisure facilities were good, and you're only 200m from the Beach. If you're a whisky lover, this is the place for you - the main bar has the best selection of single malts I've ever seen outside Scotland.

1 night for business - very nice
Great place with newly renovated rooms and nice and close to the train station. My only reservation is with regard to the pillows as they were rather chunky and lumpy. Everything else was perfect!

Great Hotel
Room was clean. Service was great, with the owner also being on hand! Swimming pool was amazing and Spa services looked good. Location was great for restaurants and not far from the beach.

Trip to Ostend
We had a bit of difficulty locating the hotel. We were able to park outside to unload the car, there was no help with the cases. The room had been booked as a family type but was changed to a twin, we paid the same price. The room was OK and the bed comfortable. One thing that, in my opinion, lets down a 4 star hotel is the size of the bath towels, why can't they provide large towels, after all it is a 4 star hotel! The breakfast was plentiful but again using the cheapest cut of bacon in a 4 star does 'let it down' The swimming pool was good as was the other health facilities. Parking was near by but not having easy access to the car is frustrating, every time we needed access to the car the receptionist had to accompany us. Overall the hotel met our needs.

The town has not so much to offer. We went to Atlantic 4pm you cannot enter anymore. This morning we wanted to visit the fort. Ferry did not go for 45min..... Seems a place for people who like itvery slow.... Hotel was very good. The Highlight of the place.

De algemene service is uitstekend en helpen je graag om het naar je zin te krijgen. De familie kamers zijn strek verouderd en deze worden op korte termijn (december 2021) gerenoveerd (volgens het hotel). Het hotel ligt in de hotel zone en alles is op loop afstand.

Très déçue à beaucoup de point de vue. Mauvaise odeur dans la chambre, équipement sanitaire défraîchi et non digne d'un hôtel 4 étoiles, ameublement de la chambre vieillot, bruits intempestifs de l'ascensseur, wellness inaccessible, buffet très peu varié. Bref, prix excessif pour un 4 étoiles, très peu agréable; à ne jamais recommander !

Kein zweites Mal. Zimmer völlig überteuert
Sehr nettes und freundliches Personal. Corona Hygiene Maßnahmen top. Aber das Preus/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt gar nicht. Mein Zimmer war keineswegs ein 4Sterne Zimmer der gehobenen Kategorie. Einrichtung und Badezimmer. Und die Schalldichte der Wände eine Katastrophe. Ich könnte jedes Wort meiner Zimmernachbarn durch die Wände verstehen, leider waren die Nachbarn auch noch sehr laut. Ich hätte mich echt durch die Wände mit ihnen unterhalten können😡😡😡

Les règles COVID ont rendu le séjour moins agréable car il n’y avait pas d’airco et donc il faisait vite étouffant dans la chambre malgré l’aération et le ventilateur mis à disposition.
