Positives - garden surrounds are amazing. Pool was nice and big and clean. Negatives - Bed was wayyyy too soft. Bath/shower space pretty small, knocked elbows on the glass.

Set in spectacular woods and parks half an hour away from Melbourne, the impressive three-level Heritage property of less than 100 rooms is reminiscent of Relais & Chateaux. Impeccable service standards and delivery.

This place is magical. Forget the hustle and bustle - this is pure "almost off the grid" bliss. There's no shopping, or restaurants except what's in house. It's peaceful and quiet in a beautiful setting. I absolutely loved my stay. I look forward to the next one.

Pros: Beautiful grounds and surroundings Competent staff Cons: Very small, tired looking rooms Too soft beds (unless you like super soft) Limited and poor breakfast options Paper thin walls so can hear everything in the corridors It is not a 5 star hotel experience

The rooms are extremely comfortable and the surroundings magnificent. The service was also excellent. Shame they don’t allow guests to access their own Netflix accounts and instead charge a fortune to watch a movie. Overall happy.

The heritage room is quite small compared to other hotels of the same class. The garden is very nice and close to all the tourist attractions in Werribee. The cleanliness of the bathroom can be improved. Additionally there are no main lights except the side table lights, so it's a bit dark.

The mansion is a beautiful place to stay, the grounds to walk around on and the building it’s self makes it feel like you’re back in time. The hertiage room is incredibly tiny, but does the trick if you’re only staying for one night. The restaurant Joseph’s was amazing for dinner and breakfast, though dinner options are very limited re: costs if you’re not wanting to spend a small fortune (ours was $278 for two people with a cocktail each!) the tour was a nice tough and Shadowfax winery is a short stroll from the mansion for a wine tasting.

Best pool and best bed in the world and l have travelled far and wide. A little maintenance required around the property required, eg at the bottom of the pool pillars are rotting. Corridors needed vacuuming. But overall a beautiful relaxing stay.

A total rip-off. Terribly presented breakfast. When we booked they did not say it was through an agent, we changed part of the booking and could not get our money refunded. It is no good complaining about service as there is no service there. Cost us a fortune to stay there when they brag they are doing specials at the moment.

The Mansion Hotel is a lovely hotel in a beautiful location. The staff are very attentive and nothing is too much trouble. This is a historic property but it is beautiful and well kept. Unfortunately the lighting in our room was subpar, two small bedside lamps for a whole room. And sadly, despite being surrounded by beautiful parklands, the view out our window was of two industrial chimneys and a service yard, the lights from which shone through our blinds at night. On the plus side, the spa centre was lovely and we enjoyed our time there.

The property is lovely the restaurant is too expensive but the food is really nice the stand out is the staff they are all so professional personable polite and friendly nothing is too much trouble they really make you feel at home in particular Victor at the restaurant is wonderful and treats you with such curtesy and is so efficient he is a real asset to the property

We so loved the grounds and the Weribee Mansion and Farm as well as the fact that the Park zoo and Shadowfax winery were within walking distance. It was also great having the pool and pool table!

Settled in beautiful gardens, you’ll be able to relax and enjoy some nice walks. Unfortunately half the gardens were closed as they set up for an event. The hotel, however, is completely overpriced for the experience they actually deliver. I arrived and my room was not available, so I had to wait. I was not offer my complementary wine on arrival and had to ask for it myself. The blinds in the room and cheap and don’t block out the light. Pillows and mattress were too soft. The room service was extraordinarily overpriced, with a $6 fee too, for cold fries and a dry burger. The on site cafe is like a roadside convenience store in terms of what they offer. The on site restaurant is expensive for average food. As the breakfast the staff literally sprayed bleach on my table when my food was sitting there. There were no clean towels in the pool area and the virtual assistant doesn’t reply to any of your messages. This is NOT a 5 star experience.

An amazing experience for a special birthday. Dinner-I loved the Pork Belly, Heritage room for the night was comfy, there is a lot to see & do, self tour of the Mansion is a must do. Complimentary breakfast was good. The only concern I had was that house keeping entered too early. If I hadn’t returned from breakfast when I did, would all our linen been gone?

We had an amazing time. E staff are fabulous - super friendly, helpful and patient. Pool and spa are beautiful. The grounds are huuuuuge. The historical mansion is definitely worth touring and is free with your stay. Easy drive to werribee plaza which is pretty big.

Was not worth it rooms are tiny and uncomfortable over priced for a poor quality room broken tv chipped furniture rock hard bed no bed head on the bed drive way is just dirt so car ended up filthy yet all the other roads in the park are sealed expect the hotels 🤔

Enjoyed the stay and the uniqueness of the property. The room we stayed in was not large but comfortable. The property and the grounds were beautiful. The only disappointment was the food. It was ordinary and somewhat tasteless. Given the isolation of the property from shopping centres, we had little choice but to eat there.
