Close to Wembly arena and Stadium

Posted 15-Oct-2017
Pros: Close to Wembly
Location: Location was great for Wembly arena and Stadium
We had a one night stay, so we didn't have to rush home after watching Micky Flanagan at Wembly arena. The room was clean and breakfast was great, lots to choose from. Would stay again.

Very helpful staff, we were seeing a show and forgot our tickets which reception printed off for us. Very close to LDO and Wembley stadium and SSE arena. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Room service is expensive after 11pm, £22 for two sandwiches. Bed is very comfortable and aminities in the room. Room was was very clean.

Needs updating

Posted 08-Oct-2017
Pros: The restaurant. Very friendly and an enjoyable experience each time.
Cons: The rooms and decor needs updating. A bigger elevator and friendlier front staff
Location: Shopping, restaurants, movies, and Wembly stadium
Plus, close to Wembley stadium, shopping and restaurants. Great restaurant staff. Negatives, rooms are very small, the elevator is very small and the rooms are outdated. Front desk staff needs replacing.

Nice hotel , good food, The only issue is that the room was not as clean as i thought, my sister found some hairs in the bathroom sink from where the previous person had shaved ugh, the room also had no wifi password, I looked all over for it . I expected it to be in there as I payed for a room, with breakfast and wifi included. Overall our stay was pleasent

Nice hotel - would stay again

Posted 07-Jul-2017 on Hotels
Had a good stay at the Holiday Inn Wembley - room was great, breakfast choices fabulous. Only criticism would be that 1) prices were massively inflated because of the Adele gigs at Wembley Stadium that weekend (which both ended up being cancelled, just to add salt to the wound, but outwith the hotel's control, obviously) but I'm sure every hotel in the area did the same, and 2) I don't know if Scottish measures of spirits are larger but the drinks we had over our 2 night stay were pretty weak. But all in all we enjoyed our stay and I would recommend this hotel to anyone attending an event at Wembley :)

A safe choice in Wembley.

The hotel is fine. It is an older building but the key parts of the room have been updated, including the bathrooms. There was some noise from the hallway but the room was fairly quiet and roomy for London, including a seating area. The room was clean enough but the bathroom would have benefited from a good scrub. Service was very friendly throughout our stay. Breakfast was fine -- like the rest of the hotel, it was fine but there was no "wow" moments. I was glad that we had included breakfast since there were not a lot of other options for breakfast in the area. The Holiday Inn Wembley is a fine, safe choice for an overnight stay close to the Wembley arena.

Reasonable hotel - expensive for what you get.

Pros: Location
Cons: The bar!
Location: It's almost in Wembley Stadium.
The bar was a disaster. Staff don't seem interested or very capable. Male served me a dram of malt whisky in a half pint glass! Female spent half her time chatting in reception and had to be fetched if you wanted a drink. She was exceptionally brusque with a gentleman who was part of a group of oriental guests. He asked for a drinks menu, she pointed to a list on the wall. He asked if they had a wine list, she handed one over without speaking. He ordered a bottle of wine. She turned and fetched it, brought it and one glass, opened the bottle and poured it without a word. He then had to follow her back to the bar to ask for another glass. Shortly thereafter she plus the male and a second male gathered on the public side of the bar, about 5 or 6 feet from the gentleman who was drinking his wine. For the next ten minutes they exchanged stories about duty rosters and problems experienced in loud voices with no thought for customers. I suspect the gentleman didn't feel very welcome. It was a very poor show indeed.

More than a little let down.

Posted 02-Jul-2017 on Hotels
Generally let down by the price and service at this hotel. Stayed for Adele concert, and booked 8 months ahead. Room was not ready till after 4 in the afternoon. Were sent into restaurant to "wait" at 1, and were never served. There was a group that the restaurant was reserved for, and not allowed to sit there. Safe was broken, (fixed after complaining) drain in bathroom sink and tub were clogged, windows disgustingly dirty, and only 1 little soap and shampoo for 2 women, not filled the next day. Wore white socks on the carpet, and they were black after just a few trips to the bathroom closet and back. Cleaning staff knocked on our door 3 times (starting at 8.15 to clean the room)- the first one said- Can I just leave your room out today? Excuse me? Service at the bar was "couldn't you people find a different place to go for a drink?"- like at least pretend to like you job, ladies!. Chef de Service walks around with his cell phone in his hand! Excuse me??!! Reception was more or less friendly- but when we asked to leave our suitcases for 3 hours till our taxi came the receptionist said "I'll have to ask.?"- What hotel in the world would NOT let you leave your suitcase? They have a porter and extra room just for that. Anyway, for nearly £300 a night for a executive room I would expect more- yes, even in you ARE fully booked and are located beside Wembley stadium- prepare for the crowds! On the bright side the beds were very comfy, and the linen clean, location perfect.
