STRIKING BEACHFRONT HOME-RIGHT ON WELLS BEACH-OCEANFRONT PATIO:

"Host was extremely responsive to all questions before and during our stay. The oceanfront was unbeatable for a family with 10, 4 and 2 -1 year old's. No lugging stuff back and forth to a place across the street. Personally I would have preferred no carpet for cleanliness, especially so close to the ocean. The air conditioning units in the bunk room were relatively loud. The third floor bedroom air unit is in the back area and doesn't reach well to the sleeping area. Nor was the main second floor bedroom cooled very well. I must admit none of the windows in either of these bedrooms were ever opened due to the need to set up extra curtains for room darkening for the children. It is likely the ocean breeze would have helped the heat in the bedroom issue. The two full bathrooms and 1/2 bath were adequate for our group of 6 adults and 4 children. Ideally we would have had another full bath but that is what you sacrifice to be on the ocean. The outside patio was perfect for oceanside dinners. The parking does require some expertise to get in but as suggested - backing in is the key and we were able to park 1 truck, 1 expedition and a grand highlander in the assigned area. Is this place worth the expense? Depends on what matters to you on your vacation - we had a beautiful weather week and made many more Maine vacation memories."

Wells Beach House w/ Ocean-View Deck

"What a great vacation getaway. The property was spotless and the perfect size for our family reunion. The location was ideal. Minutes from the beach (steps from public access). The front ocean facing deck was perfect for watching fireworks from all directions. The living room is huge, bathed in light and a great place to reconnect with family. Parking for five cars a real plus. If the cars are small, you can fit in a sixth! Our host was super attentive and responsive. The provided deluxe beach chairs were a huge bonus as were the three kayaks. A local neighbor told us where to drop the kayaks into the marsh near the house (at high-ish tide) so we didn't even need to go down to the marina. This is our 7th or 8th time vacationing in Wells Beach, and this is easily our favorite rental. We will absolutely try and stay here again in the future. Can't recommend this place enough."

"Easy access to beach and enough room for 6 guests to stay. Bedrooms were small as noted in description but worked fine for the trip and downstairs has room to spread out a bit when taking breaks from the beach. Good location off main road in Wells Beach."

"Overall a nice location that had plenty in short driving distance and a few spots you could walk in the Wells Beach area. Rooms were small but worked just fine and had all the amenities needed for a week trip."
