Appreciated being moved to a room closer to the lifts. My disability makes it difficult to walk too far. Customer service from Reception to the Restaurant (Ariana) was exceptional. NOTE: On arrival my demographics didn’t align with my name on the registration.

Friendly check in but that's where the positves stop. The room was dated, dirty (black hairs on the floor), dusty, noisy, had no air con and was ridiculously overpriced ($350). Won't be back.

Close to food and shopping outlets. Great location. Note there is no air conditioning so on hot humid nights like last night it was uncomfortable. With just a fan to make it bearable.

Disappointed with this accomodation. For the price I paid I expected more. Room was very dated, no air con, terrible old spring mattress that sagged in the middle, old bathroom/shower, buffet breakfast was average at best - no bread was served and the hot food was luke warm. Wouldn’t recommend this if you’re expecting modern facilities.

The staff service was excellent. Unfortunately the evening meal was not. I ordered the "Pork Belly" for mains and "Tiramisu" for desert. The "Pork Belly" was extremely tough, my knife could not cut it, I used the fork to tear it apart; I returned what I could not eat. The "Tiramisu" was a very bitter taste, like burned coffee grounds - and I frequently order this for desert but never before experienced this bitter taste. I told the waitress my opinion of the "Pork Belly" but not the embarrassing Tiramisu. Brian Green

Facelift needed immediately!
Short business stay - so just sleeping in hotel - the rooms are tired old and cheap - hotel needs to sharpen up - to start buy new bed linen pillows and towels ! All exisiting are 50years old!

The rooms were good size BUT the rooms were freezing with limited heat in the bedroom and bathroom. You can tell they updated it but not enough to warrant the price. TV was the size of a large computer monitor and staff wasn't very friendly.

Very noisy surrounding areas at night and early morning which disrupts sleep. The hotel room was clean and well presented and check in staff welcoming and friendly. Convenient location.

I stay at the West Plaza often because it’s easy and close to concert Venues in Wellington. Walkable distance to convenience store and many restaurants or bars also. Highly recommend.

Very good stay, Wellington is a great city to visit. The hotel is really central didn't need to use the car whilst we were there! Room was spacious and well equipped and the staff were extremely friendly!
