Very clean and comfortable hotel. Old property but refurbished. Rooms are very spacious, with nice views of Wellington city and harbor. Easy walk to restaurants and New World supermarket across the road.

Very high water pressure if you like that or need sandblasting. Needed milk in our suite! More than 50 ml is needed. otherwise a nice stay and great space in our suite and location

Great location and parking out back. Staff are friendly and very helpful too. Bathrooms are kinda out dated and no AC but enough blankets to stay warm during the night. Cool overall.

Our second stay. Great location. Easy walk to evening dining on the waterfront. Good amount of space for parking motorcycles without taking up parking spaces or having risk of damage.

Overall the accomodation was great and we would stay here again. Facilities were clean, the service was great and the location is very convenient to anywhere within Wellington cbd.

Great to have parking on site - Wellington is dreadful for convenient parking. The food in the restaurant was very very good. The walls seemed to be made of paper as you could hear toilets flushing, running water and often, voices.

Functional city centre hotel in good location. Shower curtain awful (needed something heavier or a screen). Reception staff on arrival very helpful and gave good restaurant recommendations but breakfast service (different staff) was poor as was the food (we found a better alternative on the second morning in the museum).

Good location, nice and clean. Bathroom a little dated but completely functional. No air con - so was very hot at night and only had noisy fan. Couldn't open windows as noisy outside as pub across the road. Couldn't hear if windows closed. Overall really good value.

The location is perfect for shopping, dining out, Te Papa museum, beach, we walked to restaurants and the bonus is cheap and safe onsite parking and a big room with a view of the CBD and harbour. On this stay we used the laundry facilities and restaurant. Would highly recommend this Hotel to others, Thanks again we will be back again soon. Nick & Rachel

Really friendly and helpful woman at the counter. I wouldn't stay here again, though, because the room was pretty dirty with lots of stains on carpets/fabrics. I don't like it when walking on hotel carpet gets my socks brown and dirty but if you don't mind that kind of thing, it'd be a fine stay.

It was very windy when we were here and because there was no AC we had to open window which was quite noisy. Otherwise the bed was confortable and we were within walking distance to shops restaurants and Te Papa.

A bit old but a nice view
Bay Plaza is showing it's age. Lifts a bit creaky and public areas dated. Bathrooms are also badly needing an update. But our room on the sixth floor had a nice view to the city and was remarkably quiet given the location.
