Serways Hotel Spessart Sud

The hotel doesn't have too much extras, but it is clean, beds are firm and good quality, so it is excellent for a night stay. WiFi is included in the room, breakfast isn't, but there's a café and restaurants next door. Reception is not in the same building as the rooms, directions only written in German, but not hard to find. The only real negative is how they handled hotels.com booking. First they didn't find my booking in their system. Later they realised it's a printed document in a binder, but they didn't know I've pre-payed it already. It took longer to sort it out then I anticipated, but they apologised and the staff was polite.

Very good motel, easy check in, comfortable stay. If you require breakfast in the morning, join the queue. If you require food in the evening, apart from burgers, get there before 9pm. Good value for money.

Nice hotel which appears new. Room was clean and comfortable. Hotek Ilis located within a service station area on motorway but has private parking which had room for cars and a few larger vehicles too, was handy as we had a trailer. Car park for services itself was packed full of lorries from Eastern Europe so didn't even try to park there, this could be an issue if hotel car park was full. Services is across a small path from main hotel and is nice and new. Restaurants shut early but there is a McDonald's and a coffee shop open which stay open. Would stay again in this hotel.
