stayed 1 week at hotel, very nice location over looking the lake, our room had a big patio area with lake view. The resort is very quiet and seems to close down in September,. Restaurants are empty and choice of food is limited
The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The boats on the lake stop early in the evening which makes going out to another town like Lucerne difficult.
Hotel is being used a temporary rest home for elderly as the local rest home is being refurbished. so mix of customers is towards the elderly.
The rooms in the new wing facing the lake are magnificient. They are spacious, well equipped and romantic.
The individual spa cottages for rent are a great idea. Again, very romantic.
The food was incredible. Very creative. The different ingredients work together to create exquisite taste. Well worthy of a Michelin star.
The bar is very well stocked. The staff was very attentive.
All together, a magical place.
I would highly recommend.

We stayed in August and enjoyed spectacular views across the lake from our room and balcony. Room was spacious and hotel is conveniently located for boat service, the cable car and restaurants. A little expensive, as with everything Swiss, but worth it for the views. Breakfast was ok, and we choose to eat out so can't comment on hotel restaurant. Overall, a very enjoyable few days in Weggis, which we loved, quieter than Lucerne, but full of charm.
Nice exterior. Cold utilitarian bedrooms which are not relaxing at all.
Receptionist at night of check-in not very friendly & tried to palm me off with a room without lake view which had been paid for. To top it off, another receptionist the next morning was unwilling to answer a query because it involves a matter which she claim was "not my job".
The only redeeming factor is the wonderful spa of which hotel guests have exclusive use of from 9-11am.
