OK hotel close to the thruway.

Posted 17-Jan-2016
Pros: The price was acceptable.
Cons: Hotel staff could be trained to be friendly and accommodating.
Location: Location is excellent (right off the thruway) with nearby donut shop, convenience store and pharmacy. An excellent restaurant is close by.
As a single traveler, the hotel felt a bit creepy. Initial check-in was quick but inaccurate. Hotel staff was able to resolve the booking but seemed only mildly interested in making my stay comfortable. .

Good location

Overall a decent place. Beds are just okay. Staff was okay...nothing special here but it does the trick on a budget when you need a clean and safe place.

Good hotel for the price

Posted 31-Aug-2015
Pros: Close proximity to what we had to see/do.
Cons: Beds, breakfast, rooms need a touchup.
Location: Close to the New York State Fair.
In looking for a place to stay, you have to rate based on what you pay. Do not make the mistake of trying to find a 4 or 5 star hotel for $80 a night. They don't exist. The sacrifices you make for the extra $50-$200 will include really comfortable beds and pillows, indoor/outdoor pools, great bathrooms, pretty decor, a real continental breakfast, etc. That being said, this hotel/motel is exactly what you pay for. The price is a bit high - probably should be around $80 a night instead of $100. The free breakfast is yogurt, dry cereal, toast, coffee and bananas. The bed hurt my back a little, the windows were dirty and the wallpaper was peeling. But in rating it for it's price point, it's right about where it is supposed to be - a low frills place to stay with your eyes closed.

Great place to stay

Posted 20-Jul-2015
We really enjoyed our stay. We were there for only a night. The room was so nice and cool when we walked in. Which was nice on a very hot day. The beds were SOOO comfortable. Every nice staff. They were so nice to my kids. The breakfast could have been a little better but overall great place to stay!! Thank you!!
