"The cottage is very basic and dated, but the location can’t be beat. It is a lovely, quiet spot (secluded, even) between Kenmare and Sneem. No internet, no frills, but the owners are very nice and the cottage had everything that we needed. We found the bed to be quite hard. We really enjoyed our stay."

The location was perfect for relaxing in front of the views and short day trips to all of the sights. Our favorite part of the house was the large ocean front window. "We stayed at this lovely little home for 4 nights. It was a bit farther out then I realized but after getting over the shock of the tiny roads it was a beautiful drive. The home does not have any extra comfort items such as shampoo, conditioner, soap, salt, pepper, coffee (but has a nespresso machine), laundry soap, extra toilet paper or paper towels, etc. to be fair these items were not in the listing either so it is listed 100% accurate. "Beautiful house, immaculate. Spacious rooms and large walk in shower. Well equipped kitchen, warm. No satellite TV unfortunately. Great views all round, the sea and the mountains. Very welcoming with owners parents next door if we needed anything. It would have been useful to have a signpost to the property as we did get lost. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here."

"We chose this house so we could visit Skellig Island. Sadly, the trip was cancelled due to stormy weather but we didn't mind too much as the house was such a pleasure to hunker down in! We used our downtime to catch up on showers, laundry, rest, and relaxation before resuming our tour around Ireland. It was a lovely house with plenty of room to spread out, watch Banshees of Inisherin, and eat take away from Dooley's in our PJs.
