"the hotel is lovely. nicely redone and the restaurants and food is very good. the only issue and its important....the mattresses are incredibly hard. like sleeping on a table. if you like a hard mattress....this is a good thing....if you like something more comfortable....this is not the place."

"We enjoyed our stay at the property. We had a little trouble with the system saying that I hadn’t paid the city tax when I had, but this was ultimately resolved before checking in. We were lucky to be upgraded to a duplex. We enjoyed the extra space for our family of 4. A negative point is that the duplex could have benefited from a dehumidifier as the bedrooms were in the basement where it was humid. The beds and carpet also showed quite a lot of wear. Another challenge was the lack of mirrors near outlets. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay very much."

"We really enjoyed this quiet location. You can get to city square in 10 minutes with bus 22. Staff were friendly and helpful. We rented bikes on our last day and it really gave us the Amsterdam local experience."

"Having stayed at other Moxy hotels we had an idea of what to expect. This location is very comfortable to navigate. The rooms are in the Moxy-style focused on swanky efficiency. What was the selling point was the location in Houthavens with the harbor view. There is something very relaxing about watching cargo ships moving about and the water moving as you begin and end your day. The amenities and staff were very nice. The only thing future travelers should consider is their transportation method. This location is a bit of a walk from many transport options leaving you with: taxi or walking (unless you wish you rent a bike from the hotel). Once you've figured it out, you'll love your stay"

"We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were very helpful. The room was clean and very well equipped. Everything worked! The position was perfect. NDSM is 10 mins from the centre of Amsterdam by ferry, which is free and runs every 15 mins most of the time. There are lots of good restaurants nearby. We would definitely stay there again."

"There is no phone in the room anymore so you have to use a QR code in WhatsApp to communicate with front desk but AI intervenes with first level answer and you have to ask AI to forward to a human. Check out time is 12 but the hotel offers late check out up until 4pm for 15 Euros per hour. But they sell you this extra time in advance and then pound on the door when you're running late. It could have been handled much more positively by just offering to stay as long you want up until 4pm at the rate of 15 Euros per hour for the extra time from 12-4pm"
