"Absolutely loved this place. It’s like the perfect cross between B&B and hotel. The staff was delightful. We really enjoyed the speakeasy in the basement (hi Jim!). We met so many fellow travelers there. The location is perfect. Portsmouth is a great town, totally walkable, very safe and we can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend staying here"
"This was a nice stop for a good nights rest on the way to Maine. We enjoyed a good nights sleep and then finished our drive. I do wish they would offer some bagels and a simple breakfast but that seems to be going out the window on a lot of hotels. Complimentary breakfast is a fair expectation imo. Very clean and great location so overall I would recommend this place a a solid night stay. "

"We had a wonderful greeting by the hotel manager. He assisted with getting us checked in and provided us options for a late dinner. Our room was clean and easy to locate what we needed. The refrigerator was cold (not always the case). Pool was great. Breakfast was well stocked. I’d stay there again!"
