"Four of us enjoyed the Blue Cottage in May 2024. The house was well stocked with everything we needed for our stay including a well-functioning gas grill. The views of Mt. Hood and Mt. St. Helens (we think) were spectacular. It should be noted that the driveway is quite steep and can be a little slippery in wet weather, but there are steps in the middle of it to facilitate safe walking. Parking is available on the street as well as in a garage."

"The hosts put much love and effort to make the property unique and inviting. Nice decor, wonderful patio with water fountain, It is small, and the working and kitchen amenities are minimal. The window coverings let light in, but just put a pillow over your head. It works out beautifully. The hosts are personable and eager to make your stay comfortable."

"Everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. Location was great for getting around Portland to explore, but having a quiet place to go back to within walking distance of lots of little shops and dining. House was clean and well-stocked with essentials. Parking was super easy. Although we didn’t need it, they did provide a pack-n-play for travelling with our infant. "My partner and I loved our stay at Lill’s zen cottage. Lill is an excellent host who was available and quick to answer questions when needed. She was quite helpful and close by, but we accessed the home without meeting her and we never felt our space was imposed upon. The home is well appointed, comfortable, and peaceful. "The property is in a very quiet area, right next to the river. The house is well-furnished with quality couches, beds, appliances, etc. Charming house, very comfortable for our family of 4. "Our stay here, at RIVERSIDE Cottage exceeded our expectations. We loved how they set up the fire pit, in early spring, so that we could start the fire. The first thing we did was sit on the balcony. That led us down to the river for the fire. The bed downstairs was just magical. It provided us with a very magical view into cabin living. The open aired upstairs living area, punctuated by a beautiful piano, made for the perfect stay. Thank you!"

"Neat and Tidy, all things to make your visit comfortable. Would be interesting to know the history of this little place. Hosts stayed in contact. Deer and squirrels stopped by for a visit. Very quiet except when the Train passes (after a day you don’t notice it). Only disappointment was the shower, it’s “NOT A SHOWER/TUB COMBO.” The Cottage slops a bit to the South, but understandable due to age. All in all it was a great place to stay."

"We are a group of 8 friends who go on vacation for a week every year.( for over 30 years ) We are 70 years plus old! Property and views were wonderful. Many deer sightings, a view of the Columbia River. House was beautiful and updated, each couple had their own bathrooms attached to rooms. It is 3 stories, so if anyone has issues with stairs consider that when booking. We had no problem. Property owners were very attentive and would definitely recommend this property."

"Our stay was good, that being said. It’s listed as being secluded and private. It’s far from private and only secluded because of the location. The need to list that the hot tub is not private and it is not next to the house.. it’s across the muddy pine needle filed parking area and down a muddy trail. The hot tub is a great feature, but if your looking for seclusion and privacy.. this may not be the place for you. The house has a spa bathtub, that would be great if the neighbors construction...
