Good location a couple of block from the Metro, Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods. 30 minute walk to the National Mall. Rooms were a little dated but overall nice. Full kitchen was a bonus. Onsite restaurant was really good. We cancelled other reservations we had to eat at the onsite restaurant. Staff helpful and friendly.

The staff is so excellent at their job of being welcoming and helpful. Some cabinets and other finishings need some repair/TLC but in general the rooms are spacious and clean and the staff is so lovely.

Truly an oasis, in the midst of the bustling city. Truly exceptional staff--from Najwah at the front desk, the staff at Matera (first-class breakfasts!), and the housekeeping staff, it has been a long while since I have experienced a hotel stay as smooth and warm as this one. Super-clean, super-quiet, and well-appointed. As I was writing this review, I heard one of the front desk staff very respectfully ask one of the guests how his son was--a rare, well-executed display of compassion that was really quite striking to witness. Will definitely be booking here again when I return. Very, very highly recommended.

Having a full kitchen in the room was nice, but the flow of hot water to the shower was extremely slow and weak. Although generally clean and well-kept, a glass left as clean had lip prints on it, and soap dispensers in the shower were essentially empty.

Lovely Boutique Hotel with Very Friendly and Helpful Staff in a Great Neighborhood. Safe and within Walking Distance to the White House, Georgetown, GW University and Metro. Short Metro Ride to the National Mall. Would Stay there again. Pleasantly Surprised.

Pros: The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. It is close to restaurants, the Metro, grocery stores. Con’s: The rooms needs a facelift. The Queen bed mattress felt worn out and was not comfortable at all. The pullout couch mattress was more comfortable than the Queen bed. The hotel only has heat during the winter, when we arrived the room felt like a sauna. With no way to cool off the room the we were told to slide the windows open. A problem is the window only slides open a few inches.

The inn is located on a street where students like to go out and party. There were a lot of loud, drunk, young adults screaming and being loud up until 3 am. They eventually left the area, but it was really loud for several hours and there did not seem to be anyone telling them to quiet down or leave the area.

Everyone was super friendly and kind. The room was extremely comfortable and especially quiet. The kitchenette was pretty great especially since grocery stores were nearby. Overall a great stay.

Fantastic option in DC - stayed there just one night, wish it was longer. The building is a little bit older, but everything including the room was immaculate and super well maintained. Really nice to have an in unit kitchenette, everything you need in a well organized space. Front desk staff super friendly and helpful. Great area around the hotel, 3 minutes walk to Foggy Bottom metro or 15 minutes to downtown DC area. All of the convinience with none of the noise and traffic.

Location is just great. The staff is very friendly. The rroms are very nig and well equipped. The only bad thing is that parking is limited on the streets and valet is too expensive.

Great little Georgetown gem
Great little place in Georgetown. Very well situated, staff engaging and helpful without being intrusive. We stayed in a King suite with river view, essentially a small DC apartment with full kitchen, separate bedroom, and glorious view--all for a truly exceptional weekend rate. Work in DC frequently and will definitely use this spot again!

Wonderful spacious rooms
It was nice and spacious. My family enjoyed it, although we didn’t use the kitchenette, it would be of good use if we stayed longer than 2 nights. Also, parking on the street was nice too instead of paying 55$ a night.
