Enjoyed my stay
Great hotel! Service all around was incredible. The guys at the door (may not be “doormen”, but over 3 days, I only saw 2 doormen who helped open heavy doors for travelers. If the guys standing at the door are not official doormen, they should t be there as they do not help. For a hotel of this stature, it gives a bad impression when you are struggling to open the heavy door with luggage, an umbrella and 3 of them are just standing there talking with no interest in assisting. Just a point, but staff everywhere else went above and beyond! Riggs cafe service was amazing, ate there all 3 nights (enjoyed the service more than the food, but it was good enough to keep me coming back). Only other critique is to have irons available in the room. By the time I realized, there wasn’t one, i was late and didn’t have time to call down for one to be delivered...but overall - this is my new fave hotel in DC!
